I'm just another concerned customer. And would love to see destiny return to its peak.
We need a return to game play and core features like that of taken king
Pre-BETA Destiny was the best Era of destiny
Fixed that for you, mate.
-
Vanilla was the best. I loved crucible marks. Bungie better bring them back.
-
I liked house of wolves better
-
That's when we started getting things like Zauolis Bane as end game loot.
-
HOW hands down. I miss my hopscotch pilgrim. Everyone complained about the lack of a raid but All content in the game was relevant. Ok they added trials, but no one's perfect.
-
Agree, HoW was very good as well. But i loved TTK.
-
House of Wolves
-
I enjoyed HoW more.
-
Did you not play House of Wolves?
-
Ttk post April update.
-
Thats funny......considering taken king was cut from vanilla
-
*rise of iron
-
True, ttk brings me such good nostalgia
-
I liked the Taken King. It was a cheese to snipe Xyor the Unwed in the Shrieker Room for the Thorn quest and I still miss when they hadn't nerfed pulse rifles. The Bad Juju that went along with my Obsidian Mind and Voidwalker Warlock was so smooth with the stability back then, now it's quite a struggle to control
-
HoW was the best era, that's when we had the most freedom. TTK removed a lot of the positives that HoW implemented, which is why people took to calling it "the taken content"

Bearbeitet von PTC_68: 10/22/2017 9:58:56 AMNo it wasn't. Forum whining was as bad then as it is now for a start, wah the raid is to hard, wah bungie lied about Sleeper being the new Gjallarhorn, wah a gun killed me in pvp, wah the enemies are reskins, wah wah wah. Plus, hand cannons were ruined from day one, everyone looked the same due to limited armour sets and trials asserted itself as the decider of what weapons we could enjoy in pve. Instantly RiP Nirwen's Mercy, Qillums Terminus and Chaperone. TTK had a lot of good stuff, as did all the expansions, but for me the game only ever felt finished when the live team gave us Age of Triumph.
-
i miss shadestep glitching and getting like six shots of sniper ammo per crate lol plus that was as close to balance as we have ever had. thorn, last word, and hand cannons in general were decent, pulse rifles such as hawksaw and pdx were probably meta but were not far ahead of doctrine of passing/TDB silimars wrath. mida was good. shotguns and snipers were both pretty powerful.
I'm just another concerned customer. And would love to see destiny return to its peak. We need a return to game play and core features like that of taken king
This is what got me back in to D1
-
Nah was better after they added some flinch to snipers so people could challenge with primaries.
-
The infusion system and the raid drop system was abysmal.
-
I would have to disagree with the introduction of the taken which should of ended in ttk but we are still having to deal with that shit that came out of the mind of luke smith. In my opinion the house of wolfs was not to bad even if at that stage the infusing system kind of sucked but thay fix that problem by the age of triumph along with the light level progression and there was a lot of other things as well that made destiny great but that is all in the past I don't think that this game will be that good ever again
-
D1 > D2 period. Increase light level to 450 so we can have something to do while bungie fixes D2.
-
HOW was best. Then Taken King.
-
I would argue that HoW was the best era. To me, TTK was the beginning of the end. It became clear once all of Y1 was left behind that Bungie hated that version of Destiny. Everything from TTK forward was bland and uninspired.
-
Oh yeah i remember all of you guys loved House of Wolves! Remember the Handcannon, Thorn and TLW, rerolling, shotpackage crucible days, boy! Those were some great times, never been such a happy constructive community.
