It's better this way.
"enjoyable"
Riiight, just like how in D1 sitting at the back shooting down enemies was "enjoyable".
Let me ask you a question,
How can you enjoy something if you sit at the back like a little bitch and pick off enemies?

So rushing and kill no enemies is fun? in a FPS? Because the only challenge i see is that. I completed the NF, helped others and took the King's rats (2 times). Was that fun? I don't think so! It's like job in real life!
-
It's just a modifier for one week for -blam!-s sake. The week before you had to kill enemies.

Bearbeitet von Septimus132: 9/18/2017 1:07:25 AMThen there are no reasons for Bungie to simply extend the timer to 60 minutes or more is there? It satisfy people that take their time on Nightfall and people that seek the challenge. Better yet, put another Power engram for those that complete the Nightfall before a certain time to create even more incentive for people to like timed Nightfall. This is Destiny 2 not Resident Evil.
-
Ok you like to do them fast. Fair enough. But at no point were you unable to do this in destiny 1. You could do that if you chose.. but now other people who choose to do it another way have been denied that possibility... now if your so thick or immature you cant see the problem you should maybe go play in the corner and let the adults talk.
-
So tell me all mature and adult one, What is this "another way" have they been denied?
-
How is it challenging to sit back and pick off enemies 1 by 1 hiding behind the same cheese spot??? The timer forces you guys to go out into the battle and shoot people... it's only difficult if you suck...
-
But thats not what it forces it forces bunny hopping over and past as many trash mobs as you can and only stopping to kill ones to get doors open etc..so in effect you kill less mobs with a timer
-
You shouldn't have to wipe areas every time... that would become tedious and boring. And with the right strike team you can still take down mobs even with the timer and still have plenty of time to finish...
-
Translation: No one plays like I do, so they're wrong, and I assume they play like this.
-
That logic applies to both sides of the coin.
-
your making assumptions that everyone did that.
-
Uhh no nice try tho buddy.

Bearbeitet von Dr Livingston 9: 9/17/2017 5:10:50 PMbefore the timer people finished nightfalls fast. there is no need for a timer. make the nightfalls harder but do not use a timer so you have to skip sections.

Bearbeitet von it's pronounced Hai su ta: 9/17/2017 5:28:01 PMWell if you haven't noticed the last NF's timer was related to kills. Which in fact you didn't have to skip sections. If you think timer is that much of an issue I suggest you move, cause it's here to stay. Oh and if "people finished nightfalls fast" what's the harm in adding a timer??
-
Because some of us dont spend their lives in front of a television ignoring the world. I struggle with the timed nf because i dont have the luxury of sitting for hours to perfect my run with others who have hours to waste. Having to skip whole areas to keep under the limit is hard when you could die from the effort or running through. Not everyone lives to game and certainly not to make elitest gamers feel better about themselves by giving them someone to insult and demean.

Bearbeitet von it's pronounced Hai su ta: 9/17/2017 11:02:16 PM"luxury of sitting for hours to perfect my run" Nice over exaggeration. If you are not an "elitist" why do you feel the need to "perfect" your run? "Having to skip whole areas to keep under the limit is hard when you could die from the effort or running through." No one is forcing you to skip areas and just be thankful this NF has a nice and fun modifier to accompany it....which like I stated before the other modifier requires you to not skip areas but to clear out areas to gain time, I.E last week's NF.
-
I did not do the first nightfall so i don't know how much the kills helped. As you can see with the poll most do not want to be timed. i attempted the nightfall this week and got to the boss and then in the middle of the fight ran out of time. i heard golden gun would make it easier but i was on my warlock.

Bearbeitet von it's pronounced Hai su ta: 9/17/2017 11:04:19 PM"I did not do the first nightfall so i don't know how much the kills helped." This is the reason why I can't trust people like you, and I would also assume this poll is skewed with individuals with the similar thought process as to which you upheld. What this means to me? You are speaking out of your ass.
-
I do not want to be timed unless its a exotic quest or something. so even though i did not do the first nightfall i know it only gives you seconds for each enemy and the fact it is timed sucks even if you do not have to skip enemies. some people do not like to feel rushed.
-
-
You are speaking out your arse. Even last week with the time bonus for kils it was far faster to skip lots if mobs. Like the ships who gave no time bonus and the first tank etc.
-
Bearbeitet von it's pronounced Hai su ta: 9/18/2017 2:41:41 AMOh be quiet, It wasn't quicker to skip mobs, the game mechanics makes you kill certain enemies to proceed. And waves upon waves of enemies rush you. And this week? It's a refreshing change, it's more "fun" than a "requirement". If you cannot complete this weeks NF but come here to complain about something not so difficult, even though you are bluntly stating "it's easier to skip most mobs"... I am sorry but there is something wrong on your end. Once again, you are speaking out of your ass.
-
all 500 are speaking out of there ass? some people do not want to be timed .some people do not want to speed run. if they wanted to create a separate activity for that then that is fine.
-
Bearbeitet von it's pronounced Hai su ta: 9/18/2017 2:39:24 AMLike I said, this quote: "I did not do the first nightfall so i don't know how much the kills helped." Encourages me to believe that this poll is skewed towards the similar mentality you placed forward. Why? The first NF didn't encourage speed running but killing enemies to increase the time limit. Get the hint?
