I am curious how many people like nightfalls timed. there are people on my friends list that hate it and wont do another nightfall again. some like this track and field event.
to me it feels like the hurdles in a track and field event. i hurdle over all the enemies.
maybe a lot like nightfalls timed. I think its bull crap that all nightfalls are timed. why can't we have some some weeks that are not? this would make everyone happy. In prison of elders the modifers changed every week . how about changing nightfalls every week where sometimes they are not timed.
My favorite nightfalls where go back to orbit if all members die. The amount of time in nightfalls is not enough to enjoy the content. Not only are games are meant to be challenging but also enjoyable and how can you enjoy something if you rush through it?

2 AntwortenI don't like it. But I also think that they don't care about ours opinion so nightfalls will stay the way are today.

Like them? No. Think they should be removed? No. Well... shit, no option.

3 AntwortenBearbeitet von TheShadow-cali: 9/17/2017 2:53:13 PMI say make it optional. There is a quest that you need to finish it 5 minutes before the timer stops to get the exotic. I say keep the timer for quest etc, but if you don't want to speed run it let gamers play how they want to play it. This control issue this company has with this game is killing the fun factor in this game.

I think they're alright timed, but I still think a few changes need to be made: 1) Increase the starting time by a few minutes. 2) Make the nightfall's challenges more difficult and rewarding for those who want to do them (e.g. get an extra piece of nightfall tier loot for each one you do). 3) Introduce strike specific loot, and have an increased chance for it to drop during the Nightfall, with a guaranteed drop during the Prestige Nightfall. 4) Reintroduce the "Nightfall" modifier (i.e. wiped team means getting sent to orbit) to Prestige Nightfall and increase the number of items you get from completing it. 5) Allow us to run specific strikes via the director or by approaching the starting point in the patrol zone (something that should be available for strikes, missions, world quests, and adventures).

6 AntwortenLook at the voting. Another Bungie fail. Putting a timer on content to add difficulty is lazy. Making a two primary game is as stupid as it looked. Having a raid that is nothing but a puzzle book BECAUSE you were stupid enough to design a two primary game is about the last straw. How do they get back out of this?
-
Bungie has resorted to making you jump through hoops for light...literally. L A M E

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von IWRSTLDSBEARONC_: 9/18/2017 9:41:16 AMI like the original. If team dies, back to orbit. I feel rushed and I'm missing the enjoyment. I don't find the timer difficult though.
-
People who enjoy the timer need to get their very own stopwatch. You can't say "its a challenge" then tell others to "get better" when the whole idea is to skip past enemies that can kill you. Prolonged gunfights, constantly low shields, ammo synths, and the threat of going back to orbit is a Nightfall
-
i hate the timer for nighfall, should be an option for players that want it for an extra engram or something cos its no fun & imo just encourages finding ways to cheese/ glitch & by pass content.
-
Like I said: Nightfalls shouldn't have it for normal but they should for Prestige or a new difficulty. Some of us are very good and it's boring when it's easy buuuuut we are a minority and the majority of players also need to have fun that's why they deserve a normal mode without timer so they can have fun and give us expert players a funny hard mode!! But as always Activision will do what they want.
-
I would rather see no timer or at least make it 20 minutes. Or just have no timer but tougher bosses.
-
2 AntwortenDon't like it. Why design a strike that forces you to skip as much of the content as you can?
-
Honestly, I wouldn't mind if the timer was only on the Prestige version of the Nightfall.

2 AntwortenI think we forget that we wanted something new and this is new. I do not want a D1 game with new missions. So at first I hated it but after trying to get the Rat King which I did this week I realized that you just needed to practice to get it done. Also the fact that all the missions in D1 we did about a thousand times so everything was relatively easy. In time these will be too, so enjoy it while it's difficult.

1 AntwortenI like the time and or I like being kicked to orbit after death. (I like the death one better) this just shows me Bungie can't win. People complain being kicked to orbit by time or by death. I mean seriously lets have at least a few difficult modes. If people don't like there are strikes and missions etc. come on! Bungie should just call nightfall newgame+ and people might understand.
-
I liked to solo nightfalls sometimes in the first game, no way can you do that with the rushed versions we have now. The timer just seems like a cheap way to "increase" difficulty.
-
24 AntwortenIt's better this way. "enjoyable" Riiight, just like how in D1 sitting at the back shooting down enemies was "enjoyable". Let me ask you a question, How can you enjoy something if you sit at the back like a little bitch and pick off enemies?
-
Time BONUS maybe. Mandatory time trial runs with mechanics... BLAM that. Blam it hard.

I personally wasn't a fan of the Nightfall system in D1. It often seemed too tedious for something that isn't even the defining end game activity and more often than not didn't even have good rewards. Nightfalls should be fun and challenging. Hiding in a corner and only occasionally popping out to take a shot because it's Arc burn on a Fallen or Hive strike isn't fun or challenging, it's just tedious. On the flip side, I think the time constraint is an interesting idea. It provides challenge in a way that isn't overly punishing (imo). That being said... if every Nightfall is timed, it's going to get old.

4 AntwortenThis is what destiny became? The most easy shooter of all time, were people can't even accept any type of challenge? D1 timed nightfalls were great. Now the player base is too weak to beat it and want to nerf it.....
-
bad game design is bad
-
2 AntwortenHow can you enjoy sitting back and picking off enemy by enemy for hours cause you can't get through it at a normal pace... it isn't rushed... unless you're fireteam sucks...
-
For a weapon quest yes , for the rest ,No
-
No point in making poles as the fanboys only consider them a viable sample if it suits their purpose otherwise to them these forums account for a small percentage of the playerbase
-
I like it cause I am beat it
-
Yeah have to say I loved nightfalls in destiny 1 even when I had all the loot just to mess around with friends with fun modifiers. (All melee during brawler etc) D2 is literally all about how much content can we skip to get to the end boss just to super him on arc phase. Really really silly design. I thought it was interesting first go, until I realized there was zero benefit of killing the ads in reality it was better to just cheese past them.
