Absolutely love how D2 PVP is moving toward team-focused PVP; however, communication is key. In order to accommodate the deaf and mute community that like to game, I highly recommend a call-out feature (For Honor has a pretty simple "help at (location)). It's relative simple but could mean a world of difference.
In addition to For Honor, Call of Duty (since Ghosts) has had the ability to shout-out locations of where you've spotted the enemy (thanks to IceBladeWinters for that information).
Also, YokiNL suggested adding visual indications to supplement audio ones (e.g. during Countdown deaf an audio cue is played informing players that the enemy has placed a bomb). Suggestion posted at: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/229517185?page=0&sort=0&showBanned=0&path=0

Thanks for the feedback. We are always looking for ways to make the game more accessible. We added colorblind mode in D1 and now Shaxx has his lines captioned. We can always do more, I'll share you ideas with the Dev team.

Then all the lazy asshats would say they are deaf so they don't have to put their mic on, AND expect to be treated better because they are scandalously claiming to have an impediment.

I'm fully deaf in one ear from a young age and hard of hearing from a recent hearing disease. I can say atleast having a little message saying bomb planted would be great along with atleast specialized emotes that call out directions or what you need ect. But not actual callouts like for honor. (But the emotes are not attached to the ones we equip. Use the touch pad or joysticks). Any of this would definitely help since having the tv be loud or using a headset isn't always possible or even an idea (even while using an ear plug to reduce noise).

Sorry has to down vote you immediately by saying"Absolutely love how D2 PVP is moving toward team-focused PVP..." Your suggestion is good though. PvP in D2 suck crap IMO. Sorry.

Long as it's optional, I'm good with it. There's already enough on my screen as it is.

There isnt even a feature for our mute guardian, i cannot see them fixing it for the players, although i agree

Bearbeitet von DemonicDmouse: 8/2/2017 4:11:31 AMHey! Someone is who can talk and hear could use that feature at times. Trust me... Many epic fails have happened because no one listened to the cry for help. Let's hope they had it.

Bump. Could replace something on the D-pad.

More accessibility would be nice. Is there a way for force a downmix to mono for those of us half deaf? With stereo I feel like I'm missing half of the world. But then there is the whole loss of fidelity... .....but I figure as an xbox one owner I should be used to missing content . So keeping with tradition, eh Bungie?
