Work it up to a 1.7 and then talk about how proud you are. Destiny doesn't reward good players it punishes them. Oh, you average 20+ kills a game? Well -blam!- you, you get a team of 4 trash cans and one decent player vs the enemy team of 6 decent players. Rinse and repeat. Not to mention the higher your skill level the lower the player pool which equals terrible connections. Proof that bungie is for the noobs and against the dedicated players

Look at my overall KD bitch. I know you're trolling but still lol.

I've fallen from Grace over the years as you can see by my recent stuff but my old year one games still show my better pub stomps.

I was about to go off on this post, then I looked under the name 😏
No. Where did I say that?
The entire thing just read it aloud at a wall

But I didn't directly say it did I?

If, as you say, decent players get 4 trash and 1 decent player, how come you always get matched to play against a team of 6 decent players? Shouldn't them also get 4 trash and 1 decent, as well? Or are you one of the 4 trash?
-
Check the stats bud. I'm 1.5 and above average.
-
I was questioning your reasoning not your skill. And this answer of yours is adding to that.
-
You asked if I was one of the 4 trash bud

This so much. If I have one complaint with Destiny, it's that I nearly always get teamed with 5 horrendous players and we're going against a team consisting of decent to good players. I figure it has to do with balancing, since my account has decent stats I get teamed with poor players to make it fair, but the jokes on them because I'm not nearly as good as I once was. I can't elevate my team like I use to.

^^this^^ When I'm in the 1.6-1.8 range and in a platinum or higher bracket on my warlock or titan, I just expect to get an On the Bright Side... medal every game. Get pitted against at least 3 people on mics and the rest pretty decent players, while I scramble to keep anything from touching my blueberries, lest they burst. I have tried so hard in a lot of those games, gotten over 25 kills at a 3.0 or better, phantoms, the cycle, breakers or better, and it still can't overcome their desire to rush to their death, or someone else's montage.
-
It's pretty insulting
-
More than that, it feels less like my next challenge is to overcome the enemy, and more like it's to overcome my team. My best game in a long time, I went absolutely huge, was tearing people in half, medals all over the place, having one of the games of my life. And then I looked at the score: down by 2k. I mean, I dropped 30 kills with a Lingering Song at a 3.0+ K/D, had over 25% of the needed score to win, just on my own, and the other 5 people on the team couldn't manage to make that work for them. All because matchmaking wanted to keep me at a 50% W/L ratio. I'm not bitter or mad about it, but it just goes to show a flaw in the thought process behind the matchmaking system.
-
Yeah I average, AVERAGE 25+ kills a game and all my recent games history shows me with like a 2.5 and all my teammates with a .7 and below while the other team has like 1.0 and above bc the blueberries ran straight at the guy with a machine gun like wtf
