I played this game since alpha and beta. Seen a lot of downs a some ups but to me it feels like bungie wants us to play how they want us to play. But forget that. I still use the last word sniper, In Crucibles and trials. The only difference is it made me change up just a little bit on my game style. They want us to use sidearms, but it seems like they're trying to force us to use it. I say forget that everyone should just stick to their style in pvp. If you like to use shottys use them. Be a little patience for that special amo. Bungie may have developed the game but it's our game. Without us they would have nothing. Forget the patch use what you want. It may take a little to adjust but you'll be a better player for it.

I like your positivity, but the issue is this: playing the way I want means [i]not[/i] playing passively. I like to be aggressive, so the need to go hunting for an ammo crate every time I respawn is a considerable hurdle for my playstyle. I agree that special ammo needed an adjustment, but I think they went about it in the worst possible way.

Well same here I like to be aggressive as well. Thats reason why I use last word. But I also rely on those snipes more then anything and I still do. But now with this patch I gotta pick when I can be aggressive and when I have to be patient for a snipe. Like I said it took me some time to adjust but eventually I did. And it works wonders. I still get killed even after getting special amo but it's going to happen.

Exactly, to have to use STRATEGY, something a lot of players don't understand. I think wiping special ammo on death is a bit extreme, but heavy ammo has been like that since day one, so I can live with it. Prior to [i]Destiny[/i]'s launch, a dev video came out, describing the three different weapon clases. The devs described special weapons as weapons good for a specific moment. Well, for the last 3 years, we've seen specialds being used more like primaries. So maybe it's a good thing they changed the ammo economy.
