Gunsmith Test Weapons Light Level
Gunsmith Test Weapons are Too Low Level
Can't even use them in the Plaquelands Patrol
It would really be nice if they were high enough light to actually use them in the Siva Strike List
as it is, the only way to Test them out, is to do spawn farming, etc in specific y1 story missions.

They want us to actually use them in real gameplay don't they?
Actual 'in the field' testing would be a lot more fun than just farming them.

2 AntwortenThis REALLY isn't something worth complaining about, especially since many people don't even bother with gunsmith past getting their class exotic.

My two cents... The light level is not really an issue for the Vanguard weapons as there are plenty of low level ads to farm (as several others have already suggested). However, I think it is an issue for Crucible weapons as (1) light level affects drops & who wants a low drop and (2) you'd be crazy to take one into Iron Banner with level advantages enabled.

Takes no time to run them down in older patrol areas though...may be making it more complicated than it needs to be. Ran 4 of this week's in like 40 minutes on Venus. The only reason it took that long is I still had Queen's and Vanguard bounties bounties for that zone, and taken spawned where I was running the fallen kills, so I detoured for a bit. If you plan a bit better, can knock out some otherwise tedious stuff while you do them...actually saving some time in the long run.

You can just freely walk around and do miscellanious objectives whilst fighting enemies who are low-level. Maybe even knock out some bounties at the same time. It's great because you just put some tunes on in the background and not worry about other players and just mill about. It's great when you don't want to do an activity that is too high leveled.

I do gunsmith every week mainly for the motes and strange coins. I do agree they should be leveled to at least 320.

It is kind of obnoxious really, was trying to do a couple last night and thought I'd knock out a thing or two in the plaguelands at the same time. Nope, have to screw around uselessly on standard patrol for a while to finish that before I can move on to what I actually wanted to do. It's just a tedium thing, something they seem to have a fetish for.

They work just fine in normal patrol. They also work just fine in all easy mode missions and strikes.

10 AntwortenLeveling up the gunsmith (testing weapons) is pointless beyond level 5. The only exception is if you're still under 390 light for the packages, but you can get 390 light stuff from any other faction and much faster as well. Otherwise, once you get to level 5 and unlock the quest, just buy an armsday order for the weapon you want and wait, weeks if necessary, for the best roll you like.

Not sure what lvl or anything you are and not bothering to look,but also 390 and 400 stuff drops everywhere Enough specific places to test each weapon Like earth patrol spawn for Hive majors etc Not sure there really is an issue here Gl
