Why do people who don't save things even care if vault space is increased? Ok so you don't like saving things that you've earned and collected throughout 2+ years of gameplay now, that's cool if it makes you happy to travel light. But why is it a problem if someone else wants to keep a full set of each unique armor across the 3 classes, or keep all of the old raid weapons from year 1 that would be a bigger pain to get now than they were back then?
Increasing vault space hurts literally nobody, and it doesn't devalue the game in a single way. It's such a simple fix that would make the game so much better for a lot of people.
I don't consider myself to be an extreme collector but I've saved raid gear and unique class items and such that are no longer available that I would hate to dismantle, and I have roughly 2 full pages of weapons and armor after all this time playing. I'm the kind of person that keeps 1 of every exotic in my vault for whenever I want them, plus a handful of legendaries but after so many hours spent, they add up quickly

Bearbeitet von Wagsman1: 1/3/2017 3:42:38 PMThe disagreements are usually one of three. The first argument is the limits of the game argument. The fact that they keep putting in kiosks tells me that for whatever reason, the game can't handle much more. Putting in vault space is not a simple fix. Perhaps this will be solved in D2 when they have the chance to rebuild everything from the ground up. The second argument is resources. They have a finite amount of resources. Those that disagree tend to point to this as a significant issue. They would rather have the staff and time directed towards the next installment of the game, rather than making significant fixes to the existing game. Continually pulling developers off of future projects to work on current issues will eventually have it's toll on the future product. The third argument is that this is a never ending argument. No matter how much space they give us, people will always want more. They have increased vault space twice, and in each instance the space was increased significantly, yet here we are. If they do it again, it will not solve anything, it will just put off the requests for vault space for a while.

Thanks for the good response, I agree with your points as well. Personally I would be fine if they left it alone as i have a whole page left of each type and I don't play anywhere near as much as I used to. I just understand both sides of the argument and it seems like a change that would be relatively simple given they've dropped last gen finally. I understand that they've increased space twice already, but how many new armor sets and weapon sets have there been in the last year alone, let alone over the span of the entire game now? Then you can take the armor and multiply each period of the game by 3 if you have 1 of each character. It sounds like a lot of space but when you start adding everything up it really isn't. I will give them credit for introducing more and more kiosks tho, I would be satisfied with more of them if vault space weren't an option at this point. I'm more concerned of it being an issue in the next game release than I am in destiny 1. It feels like this has been an ongoing problem for many people since the early days of the game. At this point I can't even count the things I would have liked to keep but ended up sharding, but at the end of the day they're only virtual items in a game that will never equate to anything affecting my real life

Bearbeitet von bobswerski: 1/3/2017 3:12:28 PMIt's called being realistic. The proliferation of kiosks is a pretty big sign that increased vault space is something they just can't do with the restrictions of the current engine. And if doing it breaks something else (see: Xur and 3oC after Bungie caved to the whiners and had him sell exotic shards again) then it most certainly does hurt the rest of us who have controlled our OCD. Regardless, I'd love to keep all my Y1 stuff too but honestly, do I really need a set of Crota armor for my third character? Whens the last time I used Super Good Advice? For that matter, did I ever even use Light of the Abyss in the first place? I mean, if you are actually unable to play the game due to your hoarding problem like the OP claims, you need to get your priorities in check.
