We need to petition bungee for more value space with all the new armor and all the new weapons there is no More space at least for me I don't know about anybody else but literally I can't play the game because I have no place to put any more weapons or armor bump if you agree and they brought in a whole lot of new armor and revamp the old iron banner warmer I desperately need more space please bump

If i would get a doller for each asking of vault space i would be rich. More vault space makes destiny even more uncofortable to use.

Bump again. Come on bungie. When are you going to realize that your players aren't stupid? We know you can create vault space. You used the "360 and ps3 aren't fast enough" excuse. But they're gone now, remember? You don't have any more excuses. (Although I'm sure you'll think of something, if you even bother acknowledging this issue, which I seriously doubt will ever happen - go ahead, make a liar out of me. I fucking dare you.) So what's holding you back? (Aside from being a bunch of dipshits who insist on annoying the hell out of your players and shitting on them every chance you get.)

I battle thisbissue everyday..its out of control..they need to expand it already immediately! Please bungie..do something!

Bump again

I desperately need Vault space

I think more kiosks would be better. Solves any memory issues, bungie can deprecate armor/weapons if they need to, you can still get access to anything you have found (or xur'd). Or just turn the vault into a single kiosk that has everything. I do think its bs for people to whine that this is easy to fix. If your not a developer working on this game, then you don't have a single clue about the challenges involved.

6 AntwortenWhy do people who don't save things even care if vault space is increased? Ok so you don't like saving things that you've earned and collected throughout 2+ years of gameplay now, that's cool if it makes you happy to travel light. But why is it a problem if someone else wants to keep a full set of each unique armor across the 3 classes, or keep all of the old raid weapons from year 1 that would be a bigger pain to get now than they were back then? Increasing vault space hurts literally nobody, and it doesn't devalue the game in a single way. It's such a simple fix that would make the game so much better for a lot of people. I don't consider myself to be an extreme collector but I've saved raid gear and unique class items and such that are no longer available that I would hate to dismantle, and I have roughly 2 full pages of weapons and armor after all this time playing. I'm the kind of person that keeps 1 of every exotic in my vault for whenever I want them, plus a handful of legendaries but after so many hours spent, they add up quickly

Can't even play no vault space

4 AntwortenSTFU ABOUT VAULT SPACE if you dont use it delete it
-
Go ahead and keep requesting it but we need to be realistic about things... I'd love some vault space too but just step back for a second and realize that Bungie isn't ignoring us, they know we want it. That's why there are 1000 kiosks now, so the collectors can get rid of all their holiday crap and unused exotics to make some room. It's pretty obvious at this point that the legacy code from last-gen is making certain things, most notably vault space, nearly impossible to fix without breaking something else. If they could make a Y1 raid gear kiosk that would be a huge help as well. Otherwise it's just a fact of life, you need to fight the OCD a bit and get rid of some of that junk sitting there. This is how I dealt with my hoarding problem: - Do you really need that Boolean Gemini? If you haven't used an exotic weapon in the past month, seriously, just delete the damn thing. It's in the kiosk and unlike the armor, it only takes a few motes to re-level if you need it again. Same with Immobius. - WTF am I still holding on to some of these Crota weapons? Elemental primaries are sometimes helpful (see: Thorn quest) but I didn't even use the Light of the Abyss or Abyss Defiant in Y1. Sharded. - Y1 armor sets for my third character that I barely use outside of timed events like IB, SRL, or the rare times I can raid that much in a week? Nobody said this would be easy, sorry, but those have to go too.

2 AntwortenI could not agree more. Rarely has a week gone by that I have not posted on this topic or bumped other people's posts asking for more vault space. I am very disappointed that Cozmo has not added this back on the list of requested features even though it is constantly on the forums. Yes they did add vault space a long while back but it was obviously an inadequate additional amount to an obviously already inadequate amount of space. What is even more ridiculous is that the amount of actual memory required to hold all of the unique information (information density) about EVERYTHING stored in the current vault system is less than 4096 Bytes (4KBi). One can compare this to the actual memory of the current consoles (since they eliminated the older ones) at 8GBi or 8,589,934,592 Bytes. That is 2,097,152 times the current amount of memory actually needed for vault space. Some how I think Bungie can find some extra memory in there somewhere. I should point out that there is a lot of evidence that vault space is not permanently stored on the gaming console anyway but rather on Bungie's servers. This is why third party applications can access and make changes in the vault even when the console are off (which makes excuses of console memory being the main limitation even more ludicrous). When one considers that a 5TBi disk can easily hold the current vault space information for 100 million guardians and that this amount of commercial level drive space (including backup disks) can be had for less than $5,000 (and I am exaggerating the costs here), somehow I think that Bungie can find this in their "be nice to customers" budget and get us the vault space needed/desired.
I am surprised the anti-vault trolls have not started down voting this post yet.
I think Bungie has made a huge error with regards to increasing vault space... How many players would have brought 'silver' if they could have collected every piece of gear...

2 AntwortenBearbeitet von wardog8u2: 1/1/2017 7:04:49 PMI play for an hour then have to stop and play the manage vault space game.. not much fun bungie, willing to pay for more space let's make this happen..! the variety of wepons is one of the things I love about this game and keeps me coming back, just started using my old apple of disord again with head seeker and high caliber rounds I have so many good weapons it's hard to break stuff down and when I do, I just replace it with somthing else, I never have enough room.. :(

I would like (in addition to more space) the ability to organize my vault by weapon type/character class. It just makes it easier to find exactly what you are looking for.

I love the game but dont like having to keep deciding which master rolled gun to dismantle in order to allow me to try a different roll. I dislike it so much I find i dont want to do anything with friends because of the time it takes just to clear the space to accept any new gear. either I make a mistake and dismantle without comparison to inventory or they all wait... Raid...hahahaha right, so much crap drops I have to leave to decode just to be able to get rewards. I dont even have a burning desire to finish the exotic pulse rifle quest and ive had it a for weeks/months now. I just have no more space... so I play in offline mode so i can take the appropriate time to determine value prior to dismantle. Sure HOPE we get more ways to store or sort or manage vault confinements.

3 AntwortenCouldn't agree more with everyone, on this topic. One, if not THE MAIN, focus of this game is collecting. Collecting is one of the main draws, to put the hours into it, that we do. If there's not enough vault space, to collect items that you've spent hours trying to grind for, then why grind for it? I understand the posts, which recommend deleting unused, or low-ranked items. I've done this, as much as possible, and it's easier to do, with armor, than weapons. The problem with "dismantling" is, as others have indicated, some items (mainly weapons) are no longer available. I'm not willing to dismantle these types of items, just to make space. Bungie should just give us some additional space, to make parity with the collection, that THEY'VE created, in the first place. I'm in the same boat, as some of the other posters, with regards to having to spend increasing amounts of time, managing my vault space, just to make room for new items, that I've spent time pursuing. I'd MUCH rather spend this time, playing the game, and grinding for gear.

1 AntwortenI go through and clean out my vault weekly, but I can no longer as I have run out of weapons to delete. I deleted all of the exotics that I don't use and almost every raid weapon. The only weapons I keep are god rolls and god tier weapons as well as some of my favourites. I like to collect sniper rifles as it is my favorite thing to do in Destiny, and getting good LDRs or longbow s is something I like doing. Same with hand cannons, like eyasluna's or Lord high fixers and imago loops. I only keep really good weapons and I only have 20 spaces left so I'm definitely on board with getting more space as I'm going to need it.

Bearbeitet von Dashedchris: 1/2/2017 3:42:31 PMIf Bungie keeps giving us new weapons and amour then i totally agree that we need more vault space. its common sense the more things that you introduce into the game the more space is required. Its simple logic really but i don't think Bungie quite get it, they want us to grind for the new items but if there is no space what is the point... And to those who say don't be a hoarder and get rid of it all i say .. that some items are very special and were a lot of work to obtain and may never return.. :( so why not keep them... :)p IF they had a kiosk that we could collect them from then we can remove them to make space but is it stands no such kiosk is available

Yep more vault space
