Don't get me wrong I liked reach as a whole. But the entire series has gone downhill since 3. No matter what 343 did good in 4 or 5 is irrelevant as they brought micro transactions. Bungie kept halo alive for so long and built a giant fan base that would kill for halo. Then 343 went and shit on everyone. Why? Why do they need micro transactions when halo has survived for years without them. Like someone else said. H5 may have a huge player base compared to past halos but the players are are playing the game 5x less than they used to.

343 added Micro-transactions because the cost to make games has increased because of the boosted graphics and forge. Reach started falling down the hill, 4 slid faster, 5 stopped the fall and has started to slowly climb back up. 3 was revolutionary when it came out, 5 was not. Gamer taste always changes.
