And why do high impact snipers shoot as fast or faster than scouts? Should match them up to the fire rate of high impact shotties.

Here's the issue with that. No one would use them ever if that's how slow they are. You miss a shot? Then every single primary weapon would out perform it. Also this drastic of a change might be crossing the boundaries of "PVP only". You can change the damage a person takes from a sniper but you can't just immediately switch the rate of fires without having some issues in the code.

For pvp, it would reward a precision shot....from a supposedly precision weapon. And they're still at range. Can run or pull out a primary. The high impact shotties you're at melee range....and soon to be dead. Why the double standard?

Yes, thank you lol the fire rate need to be a lot slower, let alone make it so it reduce your handling speed, you know the same thing they did to shot gun. That way this forces player to take the time and snipe, and not just 2 body shot real quickly or even body shot and switch to a primary. In my opinion this will fix all this sniping but at the same time not destroy the archetype. It will only affect the players who are not really skillful with snipers

You know what... I misread your original post. I thought you said high RATE OF FIRE instead of impact. My bad. That would make it more even. But the majority might find that to be a little.... Devastating to them.
