I really don't want to play with anyone with low grimoire. The other day someone asked my friend where he got Chatterwhite. I don't need that kind of negativity in my life. Lol

You should tell that guy, he can get in in that raid... solo, and easier that any other strike by this days.
-
For new people it's difficult because they're not used to it, we told him vog

Bearbeitet von BERSEKAEL: 7/5/2016 4:51:43 PMbasically this game lacks on mechanics advisor... like a message pointing or telling you what to do, just like any other game. When people have to figure it out, their natural skills wont be enough, plus the lack of matchmaking makes it really hard to get in a group already... I know really good gamers that avoid raids, challenge and other activities for those reasons... personally, I hated VoG, but by this days you can kill Atheon in one round.
-
I always loved VoG because it was a challenge in y1 and people would wait for reset just to spend hours trying to get the raid done. Now it's just "quick oryx run through" >.>
-
destiny is and wasnt challenging at all, what made VoG hard, was to "remember" "what to do" "in time"... a simple advisor would make it easier... another example is Oryx Challenge mode, it has no-ingame info on what to do, perhaps PoE has an advisor, and everybody runs through it very easy.
-
VoG was challenging lol not towards TDB when everyone was high enough level and such but back when it was all new and we were all level 28 or 29 and had all blue weapons and such it was a challenge and I loved it
-
IMO the real challenge back on those days, was and is still LFG. I had to build my own clan just to get the achivement for raiding only with clanmates. Another thing this game could avoid is "mic", if everybody know what to do, which could be achieved with a simple advisor... like for example in "Diablo" or "World of Warcraft" or any other game, were you have a tracker on what to do... in the last game "world or warcraft" for example, a raid could go from 20 to 40 people, all them coordinated due to clear tasks and goals.
-
I never had a problem with finding a team through group messaging on here, I guess I always had a lot of friends though. I can see how it's challenging, I never did that achievement lol. Yeah it could it this is a totally different game, honestly I would hate if the raids were 20-40 people lol chaos
-
That is a pretty rare shader lol.
-
Honestly I feel like I should complain about what you said. But if they don't know what chatter white is they don't deserve the game lmao
-
I mean I'm only half serious lol I'll play with anyone, I've taught this game to more people than I can even count, but when I'm playing for myself just to have fun I really just want other people in my same range of experience
-
Dude me too. Me and the guy who wrote this post both have a (small) clan mostly dedicated to helping people. I have a lot of forum posts lined up for subclass info and we both really enjoy helping people. Honestly it's probably because when we started we had some pretty crappy/mean raid teams in yr 1 so we don't want to be like that.
-
Yeah true, when I started my clan I did a lot of recruiting and carries and helped people but I took a break from destiny and it kinda died down lol
-
Don't wanna be bothersome, but how did you recruit people? Ask them to join when they come to parties for trials and stuff? Bc we have barely anyone but I want it to be more established
-
I recruited everyone I played with then we'd run trials/iron banner/crucible with a full clan team and people would ask to join. We'd ask friends of friends too but mainly we used the forums and the group messages people use for LFG.

Ok thanks for the tips
