Grimoire in Destiny
I am a year one player but up until now I did not know the importance of a good grimoire score. I had no I idea some raid teams would kick me just because of a lower grimoire, or not being able to compete in trials of osiris because of my grimoire. This fact has annoyed me and I hate now that I cant go back and complete a few extra wolves bounties or the urn of sacrifice. My problem is that grimoire was never explained well and was marketed even worse. Also I hate the fact that the only exotic in all of destiny that actually has grimoire attached to it is for now a PS exclusive (For now). Now I know grimoire was never supposed to be so important that you would get kicked from a raid team but the fact is this is the way it is. I have no solution to it for now but I would like to hear your opinion and my fellow clan mates opinions. Our clan is Qubit BTY.

Bungie should create mini cutscenes for more pivotal events in the Grimoire, like some animations that explain how Ascendant Realms work. The thing this story needs most is a continuity, a solid foundation of basic concepts that 10 years of Bungievision will build upon.

That's very unfair, your characters are all very hight light level. Grimoire shouldn't be an indication of your ability.

2 AntwortenI started playing destiny year 2 and I don't like the fact that I can't get some grimoire but that's mostly my fault for leaving destiny on Xbox beta. I don't mind ps having exclusives it's just business and money. I want grimoire cards I can't get but again my fault for leaving. Last night I boosted my grimoire about 900 points by going back and searching for grimoires I don't have. YouTube is a great way to find then btw

10 AntwortenYou can get the wolves grimoire by completing the house of wolves story line quest . You can get the urn of sacrifice by killing crota on hard mode I had just under 4500 grimoire a month ago and then started to farm for it and now I have 4925. I'm aiming for max

6 AntwortenThe vast majority of your missing grim is still achievable. If you go do everything you can at this point, you will be almost Max. Nobody is kicking someone with 4900 grim from the raid. More than likely you got kicked for the low amount of raid completions in your grim not the score itself.

13 AntwortenThere are still plenty of things you can get in grimoire, ogres, hydras, Titan and hunter pve and pvp kills. All of that can be done now, but unless bungie releases a way to get the fallen hunted grimoire in the future, your gonna be SoL. Sorry guardian, but good luck out there!

5 AntwortenI never really had a problem with the Grimoire system, but as an Xbone player, I'd rather have Destiny be exclusive to PlayStation rather then have content being exclusive. It's really an 'all or nothing' kind of thing for me. As an Exo Hunter, the fact that I can't get my hands on Neuroghast armor and the Zen Meteor brings a tear to my optic lens.

1 AntwortenGrimoire is purposely vague. Grimoire shouldn't be in-game because it's much better utilized out of the game. The urn of sacrifice cards can be achieved by killing the Hive which you would for the quest, they're still there last i checked. The forsaken one needs only run a CE.

1 AntwortenI chose 3rd option: Unlocking grimoire should be visible in game. Just like Mass Effect 3 had, you unlock a new place or race or anything else? Here is a codex with full story in game! That is how it should have been, but yeah.. As we all know activision only thinks about DLC's (Delfinitely Less Content)
