I didn't use it much, it got vaulted to use patience and time. The game is shit, it takes minimal skill. But really, you should try and play WITH skill. Saying not to use a weapon with WoL is simply opinion and will not stop anyone from doing so, it's opinion not fact. No, I wasn't aware of grenades and horseshoes on it. Good info, but as it stands now, not important. The gun has not been relevant since early HoW. Furthermore, calling the game shit is justified. It's sad when even CoD has more quality gameplay and balance than something from Bungie, who's entire popularity derives from competitive multiplayer. Multiplayer that require skill on the players part, not the weapons part. My statement on crutch weapons is also justified, as I'd say 60% of guardians in destiny used Icebreaker because of limitless ammo, not because it was a great sniper rifle. It let them camp out of reach of enemies and cheat their way through missions, Gally became a force requirement in LFG groups due to your average every day elitest sector of the community. Basically shutting out anyone that didn't have one. If you wanted to be in Trials, you were required to own thorn/hawkmoon or else you were deemed incapable of being helpful. The way I see it, my opinion and more on topic, Bungie offering a fancy looking gally(which will get nerfed again, I can assure this with 99% confidence) is a show of desperation to bring back many year one veterans that left. The way they see it, the sheep will see a shiny new gally, toss money at the screen for the new dlc, and in return we will get yet another halfassed DLC full of reskins, bugs that won't get fixed, and broken crucible mechanics which bring nerfs that tear down weapons so bad that they won't function in PvE. Honestly, how anyone can out faith into bungie and not expect to be absolutely lied to and let down is a mystery that won't be solved.
