Not a very good gun. You are better off just getting a good shotgun from anywhere else.

its not supposed to be a normal shotgun, its supposed to be like a short range scout for headshots. thus roadborn perk
-
Who said anything about it being normal? I have it and have used it. It is a shit gun, a waste of a primary slot, and not worth the trouble to get it
-
I like it, but mostly for the generous ammo capacity it has. I'm basically using it a lot until I can get a good roll on one of those Queens Wrath shotguns from Variks.
-
Don't listen to this disgruntled guardian Taka, its already quite obvious from the way he's stating his opinion like it's a shining beacon of hope (or extreme failure) that he can't hit the broad side of a barn. The chaperone is a very good shotgun, I personally don't use anything else.
-
Mate c'mon the chaperone is rubbish It used to be alright but now you'll do better with a CT-D
-
Bro, you are so full of derp, it is making my eyes hurt. The Chaperone is shit. Just because you use it all the time, does not make it less shit. Just means you like to play with shit
-
I had a feeling about this one, so I checked on it. Whereas you would rather shoot 1 enemy with 4-6 shots with the Lord of wolves. I would use 5 shots to kill 5 enemies with the chaperone. Waste of my time you are sir. Muted
-
I just got the Lord Of Wolves and have been playing around with it yes, but obviously, you dont know how to use one if it is taking you 4-6 shots to down an enemy with one. Muted? yeah right. You did not mute me, you care far too much about what my response is.
-
how is it shit? it shoots O.N.E. pellet and it shoots faster then the party, or CT-D its a headshot weaon. period. you dont use it like a normal shotty.
-
Like I said, it is shit. You will find out eventually. You will spend all that time unlocking it, only to see I was right
-
I'm with this guy. I may be biased by the fact that I was one of the people affected by the glitch that made it worthless even on headshots, but when you take the time to aim for a headshot you should be rewarded. My experience with the chaperone was that it took two headshots to kill a guardian whereas it took one body shot from a large number of other shotguns. Headshots add time to your engagement, so if they aren't giving you a better outcome, then your effort is wasted. If one gun just takes a trigger pull in a general direction and the other takes aim and then a trigger pull to accomplish the same outcome, it is obvious which one is more useful.
