Loot is at the top of the list of feedback I get about Destiny. Everyone wants more/better loot. There are tons of ideas thrown around on what we should do to improve the loot system. I'm always passing these ideas along to the devs for the community. Thanks for continuing to provide good feedback.

But, will it make the jump from feedback to development? What are they working on? Who cares about PvP. It's broken. It always will be until you get dedicated servers.

Every legendary engram should give 3 random rolls of that weapon/armor piece. That way reforging doesn't need to come back. Also, get rid of 90% of year 2 weapon perks. Only Last man standing is a great perk for trials, strikes and nightfall.

Listen fellas I'm going to have to defend Cosmo on this. I work in the software industry and actually have a job similar to cozmo. Development isn't super easy and things don't just get changed overnight. First you have to look at the client/customer request and see if it's feasible to currently add. And if it is or isn't going to be addressed in a future release or content update. If not you have to decide if it can actually be altered in the current version of the software as is or if we change this code or algorithm will it break something else somewhere. Which happens all the time. Now they are trying to get destiny 2 out next year which takes a lot of manpower while essentially the community is asking for new content for the current game. To me it seems that they just added manpower to working on updating ttk. So we won't be getting new content tomorrow but it will happen

I appreciate everything you've said but the one request that would solve many loot based issues, is to bring all year 1 activities to year 2 levels. With a skeleton crew this would not be hard. Bungie made a decision. Now they have to take their licks for that decision.

Are "developers" changing stuff as they feel like on a particular day, or is there any kind of design and vision with this game that they are working towards? Once they are done "developing", do they pass it on to "testers" to verify changes? Hope everyone is not fumbling in the dark at this point. 10 years is a long way to go. Or is it just so simple that maybe Activision suits, people who don't have a clue how to make games actually are those who are making all the decisions what to implement in Destiny and Bungie is not to blame?

In one of the old ViDocs, One of the devs spoke about loot and how loot should be really exciting to get. Increasing the amount of loot that dropped would be fun, Not saying instantly gratify the players with exotics, and legendaries; But make them feel like the activity they have done is worthwhile.

How about actual feedback with the comunity instead of every few days droping in and saying I will pass it along. I have been messaging you for days with no reply so one must assume you dont realy care.

you need to do something that allows progression...think it over, figure it out. this whole run the raid for 3-4-5 months with no 320 ghosts or class items really isn't exciting anyone. you may consider having ghosts and class items rotate on challenge mode rather than just artifacts on every one

Loot drops, hahaha It's been on top of "The List" since day 1. way before you even got here (no offense). Nothing at all, in any way, shape, or form makes me believe even for a second that anything will even happen to change loot drops in a way that will benefit a player. Been here since day 1. Holding my breath isn't really a good option is it mate! :) E

Drop loot like when TTK first launched, was like my birthday every hour or so, purple engrams everywhere allowing me to try numerous setups. I'm too scared to try new things knowing sacrifices have to be made to things that took too much time to get. And crucible drops, since launch of TTK, only 3 weapons had dropped, 3! With how bad RNG is, constantly giving terrible rolls, more drops are required, that or bring back reforge.

How about trading exotic engrams for 2 legendary. A 3oc for legendaries, leveling up the gunsmith with motes of light... What am I going to do with 5, 000 motes of light when I on want an ash factory...

By the way, apparently Leif Johanson,in Planet Destiny Podcast #57, said that they were WAY too generous with loot drops in SRL. Cozmo, if that is true then I would love to know it right now, because it shows me how out of touch those guys are. We NEEED much better loot drops.

From their reacts on the planet destiny podcasts I really hope you can help change their attitude because they seem to think its fine. Was kinda disappointing seeing the planet destiny crew help Luke Smith fumble through an answer to poor raid drops. I feel like he was just avoiding the question until challenge mode. If our feedback influenced how we were rewarded for challenges it would give me hope, but that something we never heard from bungie that they used our feedback so I'm left to assume they purposely kept rewards low to encourage grinding until challenge mode could relieve the problems and extend playtime artificially. So if rewards increase because of our feedback it would be nice to hear that. makes us feel listened to rather than bungie just doing what it wants.

Increase drop rates of guns like grasp of Malok. I'm sure that strike wasn't even meant to be farmed by killing her and yourself and doing that over and over but even with that exploit it took 3 hours to get myself just one. Me and my friend did it for about 4 hours and I got 2 he got none. Lol that's crazy.
