That cop fails to understand what the law is. Downloading pirated films is not illegal. That would be like being charge someone for theft when the bought a stolen car from a used car dealer. Disseminating copyright material you do not have the rights to IS illegal. Which would be uploading stolen movies or giving them out on the street. Selling them is worse because it basically is stealing since you do not own the rights to that movie, nor helped create it, yet are taking all the profits.

Dad when he got boozed up and did some skinny dipping in the neighboring towns water fountain and local cops later found him in his vehicle and slapped on a dui. Oddly enough inside that towns jail reminded me of school life. Weird
