You thought tripleWRECKs montage was good...(EDIT New Montage)
It IS GOOD! In fact, it's incredible. By no means is this even comparative on a level of editing or gameplay. But I would like to think I'm a pretty good sniper reaching back to my halo days(anyone catch that?) and also put some good time into this.
And now before you write me off as just another try hard check these stats I compiled off destinytracker with some of other top crucible players. For a minimum of 5000 kills with snipers here are the headshot percentages:
kampy- 61.8%
TripleWRECK- 59%
Kjhovey- 68.3%
She's my Nerd- 72.05% (right at 5000 kills)
(Edit 1)iWrathful- 77.6%
(Edit 2) TrueVanguard- 70.6%
(Edit 3) RealKraftyy- 85.9% (he's the real deal on accuracy!)
Flesheater- 73.2%
(Since this post got magically brought back up after being dormant, I am now at a 73.2% overall and 77% on my hunter)
In no way am I trying to say I am better than those guys cuz I know there is no way in hell that is true. But I looked those up just to add a little weight and evidence to why you should check it out! You may think I suck that's fine. Whatever just wanted to share this!! Thanks! Hope you enjoy

Hey so got ALOT of feedback on the first video and on great snipers and it was great. Tried to learn from it and work on different sniping methods(quickscoping and dragscoping) which there are alot of in the new montage. Would be appreciative if you checked it out!

80 AntwortenNice video man, and I'm honored you compared against me, but I'd just like to say that percentages are very deceiving... for a few reasons. Snipers behave differently, and it's often smarter to go for body shots when using medium-high impact snipers. I've always told people one of the big aspects of sniping is to know when you need to go for the head. If I'm playing with a teammate and he has called out an opponent that he has hit (or if I see him firing and have faith he has tagged someone), I will go for whatever shot I can hit quickest and most reliably... usually to the chest. Another factor is when you look at a sniper with low impact and high stability (ie Praedyth's Revenge). Sometimes you get angles where the best play is to just go for two body shots. With it being so quick, you can actually waste more time trying to line up certain headshots instead of just going for the body twice. Hell, sometimes you can't even see the head :P. I have a friend who has an 80%+ headshot rate, but I know he wouldn't come close to outplaying some of the better snipers out there.
