To make it a bit balanced let's do a couple of things to make sure we do not get gambling addicts like before.
Limit reforging to Iron Banner and Gunsmith. While including vendor rolls to reset Bi-weekly (every 2 weeks)
Requirements:
[b][u]Iron Banner[/u][/b]
1. Must have weapon you wish to Reforge
2. You will buy a Reforge permit from lord saladin which you will need to take to banshee to allow reforging on iron banner weapons.
3. Weapon must be in inventory (unequipped) and space in weapons slot.
4. Once reforging has begun on weapon you will lose your weapon and gain a blueprint with the new rolls you can either keep or request for a new blueprint (new roll).
5. When you got the blueprint you want for your gun it will go back to that weapons inventory slot. You will need to give it to lord saladin so he may confirm the order.
6. You will then have to wait for him to return next iron banner with your newly rolled weapon.
[b][u]Gunsmith[/u][/b]
1. You may choose to reforge an existing gunsmith weapon (a)or you can choose to reforge a upcoming package(b). (If you choose to reforge the package you will only be able to hold that one package).
2a. Gunsmith weapon must be unequipped and in the inventory slot to be eligible for reforge.
2b. When choosing new packages player will be asked if they wish to reforge package. If yes all other packages will be locked from pickup and you will recieve the package as a Special Order. Packages can not be picked up until you choose to reforge one or deny all reforging.
3a. Once reforging has begun on weapon you will lose your weapon and gain a blueprint with the new rolls you can either keep or request for a new blueprint (new roll)
3b. Once you reforge the special order package. It will show you the roll it will come with on delivery. You can either choose to reforge or keep the special order.
4. Once you have desired roll give the blueprint/special order to Banshee and in one week you will have your new ordered weapon.
[b][u]Materials needed[/u][/b]
For each reforge you will need the following
1000 Glimmer
15 Weapon Parts
1 Mote of Light
3 Legendary Marks
This is required for both Iron Banner and Gunsmith weapons.
Lemme know what you think about the system and if some things could be changed. Just had a bit to think about what can be a possible solution to (Everyone using the same gun issue)

This would be great but I'd like to see all year 1 legendary weapons come back like hopscotch and Allfate.

In my personal opinion I'm glad y1 weapons aren't that useful in y2. Only issue I have with y2 is the lack of good raid primaries & elements.

A month wait for a rerolled gun???

It will give people time to test new waters with different guns. Maybe even find new favorites. It can be changed to arrive on armsday. What I was aiming for was to make players choose to keep the current roll or roll and wait for it to arrive.

Please read through and leave opinions / changes. Bring back reforging but not how it was implemented. It meant everybody could get perfect rolls. I think they should implement a raid material earned by killing and Y2 boss (including Atheon Scrota and Skolas if they're updated) --- Material (Didn't think of name yet. I'll let you do that. I'll also add some ideas and which one I think is my favorite will get added in replacement of this bracket and their name will be added) "You defeated the boss? Didn't get the perks you wanted? No problem.." 3 can be earned a week. If raid are updated they are earned at any of these checkpoints- Warpriest Golgoroth Oryx Templar Killing a gorgon in the maze Atheon Lamps Death singer Crota Round 5 completion - 32 Round 5 completion - 34 Skolas completion - 35 You will go to the gunsmith with your material and use the raid material with the normal mote glimmer parts etc. One material will be one reforge. [spoiler]Note - One material is earned not per character, but across all 3. You only receive the material on your first raid run that week. On the second run material will not be granted, and you cant repeat a raid to get your max of the material that week. Whatever character completes the raid that week will earn the material, the next character will not. If a different character completes a different raid then the material will be earned, but the characters not used will not drop the material. The material lasts until weekly, reset to stop people saving them up and reforging loads at a time. After the reset hits the material will be removed from the guardians inventory, and the raid checkpoints will need to be completed to re-earn the material. This will mean it will be better to use it in the week but you won't be able to just constantly reforge. For example. Say you get that launcher with that G&H and Javelin, but doesn't have tripod or Spray And Play, and you have 4 of the material left. Do you take the roll or risk reforging? Do you use the other materials left on another weapon? [/spoiler] Reforge will be available on any vendor / Iron Banner weapon. You can reforge the final perk on raid and Trials weapons but the light would be dropped to its lowest possible. For example - Harrowed Quillims drops with 316 light and Persistence. Reforged. Final perk is rolled with Army Of One but light is dropped to 310 Normal Defiance Of Yasmin rolls with 307 light and Perfectionist. Reforged. Rolls with firefly and 300 light. Doctrine Of Passing rolls with 309 light and Rangefinder. After reforge - 300 with Counterbalance. (x = random perk ) If a reforge material is used you will always roll with a perk different to what you had. Let's say the Doctrine you got with x is reforged, it will not roll with x. As soon as you reforge and get another perk the x perk will be added back as a roll possibility. When a vendor / Iron Banner weapon is reforged the light is lowered to 280 and the full perk set is changed. Leave opinions and try to think of a name for the material. I couldn't think of any personally. Also it would be nice to have a community named material.
