Ok so your argument is that us lower levels have had time to level up to the elitist pricks by now. But that doesn't help. At every tier of the raid there are people asking for requirements that hard to meet without having ran the raid already. So for most of us casuals we still miss our chance at gear. And as for calling us none PvP players scrubs. I didn't get this game to kill people. I got it to kill aliens. So I don't play PvP often or at the higher tiers of play (Iron Banner/Trials). As for SRL. That's just not fun. I'm not going to waist a week grinding out on the same 2 race tracks. I want to take down Oryx for loot AND fun. PvP isn't fun to me. Destiny's goal was to offer two ways to get high leveled. PvP and PvE. Currently the only way in PvE is the raid. Also some of us cant do a weekly raid. School and jobs take precedent over a game. However i payed for the game and would like a chance to at least see end game content with some randoms if I must. But without getting interrogated about my KD, Exotic collection, Emblem collection, and raid clears.

  • The answer to this is pretty simple really.. Just make your own LFG and set your own requirements. You'll get plenty of dudes in similar positions to yourself who would love to join.. You will probably pick up a couple of Sherpas too that will guide you through unknown parts of the raid.

  • You completely misunderstood my post, I mean by 1,000 miles. The pvp part of the post is directed to all the pvp scrubs who regurgitate kd, cry about nerfing, cry about op weapons, and then using their pvp gear try and do the raid and fail miserably because they are scrubs. They literally come into the raid with their flawless gear and repeatedly die, miss jumps, and etc. In my other comment there were a ton of pvp scrubs talking about my kd meanwhile they have 1 skolas kill and 1 (maybe 4 total) oryx kills. These are the same SCRUBS who play cap, control, rift, etc and brag about their kd meanwhile they have NO caps, zones, carries, etc. They are out there playing tackle while everyone else is playing touch and then brag about how good they are when they failed to do the objective. As for "elitist" it isn't even that, most of us paid our dues and spent hours doing x raid, teaching our friends who were not with us the first 10 times, teaching their friends because they asked, teaching randoms because they didn't know. After awhile it gets old. Maybe bungie should have worried less about their pocket and more about new or inexperienced players by coming up with a better "mentor" system. Instead of trying to sell more games to new players, they could have a mentor system where when you play with an apprentice you get x rep, when they play solo you get x rep, when they mentor someone you get rep from both and so on. After I beat oryx 3x and my buddies who were not in the original raid ask for help I am now beating oryx 4, 5, and 6 times (getting NOTHING out of it) and now we need some randoms to help and these randoms are often horrible. So you ask for a light requirement to weed those people out and make your 6th raid go as fast as possible. Does a higher light for sure mean better player? No. However it usually means that they have completed all parts of the raid and can function in a team and that is key.
