that's why i suggested you cannot lose his gaze more than two times. Using the one orb strat it typically takes 4 cycles or more to kill him. Using the 6 orb effectively, I believe it can be done in three before losing his gaze the third time.

I did see someone kill golgoroth in one gaze, but that is not easy. But what your suggesting makes the most sense. Maybe do it without losing his gaze more than 2 or 3 times. I used to run it where you grab gaze until all orbs are gone, but that was before hard mode

Nice. Did they kill him in one gaze on normal or hard I wonder? One cycling golgoroth on hard seems near impossible with the debuff factored in but I'm sure it could be done with the right fireteam at the right light level I suppose. Hadn't heard of him going down in one gaze cycle i'll have to try and look this up. Thanks for the input!

I will see if I can find the video. But you know, it could have been normal mode I'm not sure to be honest. The most I've gotten him down is to 20 percent in one orb, that was everyone around 317 light with juiced out spindles, weapons of light, teather and melting point.

Yeah that's pretty legit. I've gotten him passed half in one orb but never bothered to suggest improvements (hey can one of these defenders make the switch? Would you mind to save that black hole til after her stops glowing orange? lol) I'm anxious to see if they do make us kill him in one cycle but honestly, the mechanics sort of revolve around multiple cycles with the respawning of the orbs, taken instead of hive adds, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if some elite groups got this done in one cycle and saved themselves the trouble of having multiple gazers, sort of like one cycling the warpriest to save having more than one aura holder. I just am not sure it will be a requirement for the challenge. Hopefully we will see soon enough,though.
