Dammit it only took 10 seconds for me to find Christianity...

The fact that Christianity is where a lot of morals originate from is a testament to its truth.
-
No actually that's incorrect. While Christianity does invent a few of the morals today, the majority were invented far before and just written down in the bible.
-
Actually that's false. Many have tried to say that the events in the bible were stolen from other religions, but those deceptions are often disproved.
-
I didn't try to say that. I said morality wasn't invented in the bible. The stories couldn't been I don't really care, but the moral rights and wrongs were in place in society long before the bible or Jesus.
-
If a belief system contradicts the 10 commandments or Jesus' teachings, then it is not morality. It is a lie. Similar to how "gay marriage" is not marriage, even if society tries to label it as such. And yes, morality existed before the bible was written. After all, the bible did not exist until after the ten commandments were inscribed in stone and given to Moses. But morality still comes from God.

I'm not sure what's worse; your religious views, the fact I can't tell if your being real or not, or that I don't know if you're actually longface...
-
It's the fact that you can't tell if I'm being real or not. My reputation implies duplicity on my part. But, that's what happens to anybody who cries wolf or plays the joker. With that being said, there is nothing wrong with my religion. All evil stems from those who do not follow God's will, even those who claim to be following it but do not do so.

Ugh I give up

Yeah. The idea is fairly empirical in nature so it didn't surprise me there were some theological responses. Not that I think they're exactly wrong or right, but they are specifically talking about one specific code of morals and fail to address the rest.
