What has been your experience with weed?
OffTopic users, I have a couple of questions for you if you've been involved with weed before or still are. I'm just curious as to you guys' experiences with it - weed isn't personally my thing, but I'm not going to try to make you quit or shove my opinion down your throat.
- If you have quit using weed as a drug
at sometime in the past (or plan to quit in the future), why did you stop/want to stop? And how did you quit?
- Why did you begin smoking or using weed?
- How has using marijuana as a drug affected your life (positively or negatively)?
- If you are against weed, why?

I used a weed wacker to chop down all of the tall dandelions next to my house and got covered with the fuzzy things from head to toe lol

They stopped caring about school, and they went from my nerd friends to people who never showed up to class. It was sad really. They just stopped caring about anything else.

First time i got a shitload of rock candy all over my buddys back seat. Some people drink, which is a lot more dangerous in my opinion. I smoke pot, whats the difference? You're still spending money on drugs either way.

I smoked weed from 9 years old to about 19. It was always fun to smoke with people and it helped you meet tons of people But when I quit then you sort of find out most of your "friends" dont really know what friendship is. They think friendship involves smoking weed everyday or else you arent worthwhile. Also when i quit I realized I didnt know what to do. Everytime you are bored you just smoke. Well when you stop smking then you dont know what to do. It sounds dumb but its true. basically all drugs are worse though. drank after smoking and it was very stressful always drinking and driving. Luckily I never got caught. Other drugs such as opiates and cocaine are just live ruining and SUPER addicitive

2 AntwortenWhen I was 15 I started smoking maybe once or twice a week then by the time I was 17 I was smoking every day at least once a day. I absolutely loved it but in hindsight it had a major effect on my social interaction with other people (I'm already pretty shy to begin with but this was way worse when I was stoned) It also let my subconscious take the lead when it came to the way I perceive the world which was kind of cool and mind blowing sometimes but it could also get very dark and nasty. Eventually I met a girl when I was 27 who I fell madly in love with and ended up marrying but it was maybe 2 or 3 months into our relationship when she decided to give me an ultimatum that I either quit weed or she leaves. So I followed my heart and my cock and 7 years later here I am, still with her and with a 4 year old daughter. I still do occasionally smoke when I hang out with friends but it is maybe 3 or 4 times a year and occasionally I still get the negative effects I used to get when I smoked everyday but I can manage them pretty well now and just stop what I'm doing and remind myself what is real and what is not. Over all I wouldn't say weed is that bad compared to most drugs but I really wouldn't go and pick it up again to the extent that I used to.

The only negative is that you don't really feel like doing anything while you're high. This is obviously impactful if you smoke every day and let it affect your job/school/social life. Using it occasionally and recreationally with friends can be great. You temporarily escape the realities of the world. Music sounds better, food tastes better, jokes are funnier, everything is positive. At least that's my experience; weed can make some people paranoid. It's certainly a better alternative to alcohol, which kills your liver, makes you fat, is addictive and makes you feel like shit.

I did weed once with close friends before I moved a couple states away. I swear it was laced with something because what I experienced doesn't really match what should be experienced on weed. It resembled LSD. Was fun though. I sieged a castle in the snow.

First time, I stared at a light for roughly an hour and a half then had some beer, played with my flaccid dick and blacked out. Last time, I ate lots of ricotta and spinach pastry puffs, drank 4L of Coke and played GTA in the space of 3 hours then blacked out. Yeah, weed's [i]great. [/i]

ever since my friend did a voice chat with me on weed, where he wasn't tired at all and I was on 2 hours of sleep, I couldn't believe not only was he stupider than me but even more moronic than usual.

I smoke daily, never before work or if I have to go somewhere and I usually smoke after like 9 pm. Helps me sleep as well if I don't I'm up all night and the next day until I crash.

I had some bad experiences mixed with booze (a couple of whiteys, another time I couldn't feel or move my legs) but generally I just got overly paranoid when I smoked regularly. Ended up stopping and now I only do it every now and again if there's some around - I'll never actively buy it.

I smoke weed if it's offered to me. I don't go out of my way to get it or purchase it though. I'm more of a drinker so when it comes to weed, I'll only have a hit or two after a couple of beers. Then I'm in the sweet spot. If I'm on hallucinogens such as mushrooms, weed is like fuel and keeps me going. Besides festival type settings, I also enjoy smoking, putting on music and cleaning my apartment.
