Note: Feel free to call me an attention seeker, or anything along those lines. I am deeply worried that they will actually implement this and I truly want an idea of how many of us are actually quitting if they do so. With that been said...

New Thoughts from the OP
To all the latest and greatest responses from the majority of the community that are opposed to what we are standing for, listen. Not every topic brought up, is one to be debated against. I do not mean that in a sense that either you are 100% right, or we are 100% right.
I mean that in a sense that, if we naturally feel a certain way about something, then we are entitled to those emotions and/or opinions that we create. Not every topic needs to be an argument. It's wise to adhere to "the other side of the story". But a million different debates can be created off of one simple topic of Microtransactions.
Me personally for example has played a game for over 10 years called "Runescape". I feel that, that is the greatest game I've ever played. They were originally against the thought of, getting an advantage in game from outside of the game. Whether it be "bots", purchasing currency or items from other players, and ofcourse selling exp if that ever became an option.
Eventually, new owners come in and change everything. Times has changed and microtransactions is a huge market in any game. Now players that dedicated many hours to the game, and worked very hard for what they have obtained see that almost any item can now be bought through a form of microtransaction.
A player of 500 hours played has what a player with 1000 hours played have, if they spent the right amount of money. I felt, there is no more pride in your gear. No more value. No more purpose if everyone has it.
"When everyone is special, no one will be."
- Syndrome, The incredibles. Lol
There is a beautiful side to microtransactions that many people can agree with. But for those who cannot agree with this, has signed, and will sign. To those saying it's only emotes, and that they have said they will not be selling starter packs and all of those loot dropping consumables, and that we are making a huge deal out of this, understand that... Some of us foresee the possible future of this system, and we feel that "that possible future" will completely ruin the game for us for whatever reason we may have.
This is similar to players not liking a specific update, and the "Mature" players in our community call these players "cry babies" or "salt bearers". Feel free to call us as you please, we both love and hate the game just as much as you do, we just have a disagreement on something. Don't try to force a certain way of thinking about this on us just because you see things otherwise. That's how wars start.
Sorry for all the text. I hope every single person here passing by has an amazing day/night. Feel free to sign if the original comment still pertains to you. If not, then let it be, because this is not a debate.

There is also a ongoing petition for bungie to come clean with their intentions for Eververse here! https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/163046398/0/0/1 Please stop by and sign! Let them know we are not going to accept this.

Signed! The OP stated it clearly. Ones financial situation should never impact in-game status. Everyone should be able to play the game they want to play without any hassle. The ones that want the best loot in a short amount of time (short? uhum :P) should grind hours and hours.

That above comment is like saying we should arrest a man for what he might do. They haven't started selling in game bonuses, as I call them. So until they do, you really have nothing to complain about. should they I'd gladly sign and walk away from this game. But you can't accuse them of something they haven't done. Even if what they have done already is greedy. Don't you make enough from your sells Bungie why do you need more. I know why because you probably didn't sell as good this time as the first time. If you didn't give us a months worth of game play, disk locked content you only give us when you want us to have it, a linear make no sense as story line, and make pvp your most valued activity perhaps you'd not have to try and make more money from stupid 5 seconds vid clips. We all know how you make your games I can watch YouTube and learn how to do what you do. Perhaps more pve less pvp and more real imaginative thinking put in your games. I'm ranting but I'm tired of the endless banter over pvp and in game purchases and stupid remarks by people not old enough to drive a car. If your under 21 your opinion doesn't matter since your mommy and daddy probably bought you the game and console in the first place. Bungie your money comes from the adults so why not listen to us. We want a better game please STOP giving us your redicoulous excuse for a game. Those of us forking extra money for a collectors edition would actually like to have something to show for it. Giving us a code that all other players can use is a huge slap in the face. Its fine though I'll just go back to elder scrolls least they know how to separate pvp and pve and not force there customers to play something they don't want to.

Just incase they release this!" To your example it's, Arrest the man, once the crime is committed, and how many are going to arrest this man with me? And I haven't accused them for anything. I clearly spoke about "the possible future".

But why the worry until they do. I see your showing Bungie the support against it. Sorry miss understood that I support you in that Bungie should get it through their heads we who have played and earned what we have deserve not to be slapped in the face by them tending to the whinners. As I said stop listening to the children they depend on mom and dad to buy your stuff and it really is the adults your making money from.

We worry now in hopes that they see, that we do not want this. Or at least there's a large portion of us that do not want this. So in addressing this topic, we are being proactive. If we worry later then it would be too late.

Signed, to be honest I think a lot of people are subconsciously looking for a reason to quit. If this does happen , bungie are basically giving it on a silver plate.

Heheh, yea I think so. I feel like I can secretly relate >_<
