Hello, Guardians.
Right this every minute, many of you are acquiring Black Spindle. Surprise!
Wouldn't you know it, there is a bug that is enabling some of these weapons to drop at 310 - that's 20 points higher than intended. In the near future, we'll be releasing an update that will adjust the Black Spindle to match the attack rating for other Year Two Exotics.
It has also come to our attention that you are using this new acquisition to Infuse your other weapons. Good on you. Have fun with that. None of those weapons will be affected by this change - only the Spindle.

Dropped Year Two Exotic Engram attack rating: 290 (not including the >300 light 310 chance) Kiosk Year Two Exotic attack rating: 280. I'm sorry that this happened, but unfortunately it's right there. I read it the correct way, and dropped my 310 Spindle into my 1000-yard to get a nice 308 1000-yard that was not affected at all. Unfortunately, some people did not read it correctly, or skimmed it and immediately got upset without actually comprehending the material. All Black Spindles, 300, 310, or whatever, were dropped 20 points. I do think that it was unnecessary due to the difficulty of the mission, but please realize that Bungie did exactly what they said they were going to do. Suck it up, get some 295+ blues from strikes, infuse it back up. Remember, your over all light level and impact determines damage, not weapon damage. Losing maybe 1.5 light levels will not significantly reduce your dmg per shot. Plus, we all love BS for the high impact and white nail perk. /end this whole thread please
