Immersion is getting better. The quest system adds so much fun thingsto do for solo players with meaningful rewards, for once. However, some mechanics implemented in certain missions that are specific to that mission could use some more attention. For instance, the stealth mission. For a good ten minutes you get to creep around invisible, feeling badass. Great. That's a step in the right direction. But imagine this. Instead of just sneaking around, there is an assassination function. You're hunter pulls out his knife, sneaks up on a knight, and silences him before he notices your scent. Then, you push the body off a ledge, so that the patrolling thralls turning the corner don't see. You continue with this enhanced stealth play for 30 or so minutes. A game within a game. Now imagine a different mechanic like this in every single mission. Suddenly, every single player mission has the amount of replayability of a six man raid, enhancing the experience tenfold. Then, give each of those entertaining missions a legendary mode, at raid level difficulty even if you're at the highest level, and make them give raid level rewards. Now, all of a sudden, you have 8 1-3 player mini-raids, and one ginormous 6 player raid. Wouldn't that be great?
Tuna, out.
