I've been pondering on the issue myself and agree that it shouldn't dictate who gets chosen for raids. Many have fallen victim to this unfortunate circumstance. However; If Gjallarhorn's rockets aren't downing Crota consistently. (Which they aren't.) Certain numbers are downing him and then suddenly deciding not to in the next sword. (Just witnessed this again last night, repetitively) It's pretty jacked up. Nurfing will only anger more people that have been satisfied this entire time. (Holding it together in terms of not losing faith in Destiny) Thus, such a move is a loss as much as a gain. Basically... Your blast radius plan will likely need to fix this for people to be pleased. Maybe even up the Hive disrupting of "The Hunger" towards Crota since he is indeed Hive. This will also empower people to use other exotics aside from good ol' G-horn. Like how Red Death heals and should be considered with Crota as much as Suros should. But not many are actually doing anymore. Leading to my next point. I'm glad to hear of "The thorn in everyone's side" getting begged into being an autorifle lol This shows where the weakest perception of a weapon now lies. A true believer of balance honestly should know what to do here. Given that Auto's were the weapon of complaints back then. While still being one of the common military weapons adaptable to burst or single fire alike. Shouldn't be too much different from pulse or scouts depending on the users trigger preferences. I suggest a happy medium between the current nurf and their former glory. If one fires an auto similar to a pulse, then physics, and damage output should be very similar to such. Like how Last Word is best single fired at range. I see why Hand Cannons are compared to Scouts. (Being single fire) But such shouldn't out do a weapon that's stocked to one's shoulder for support.
