Christianity is a very peaceful religion.
I say this because I do not look at the Crusaders, KKK, and others who have caused violence in the name of God to be a part of my Beliefs.
God does not condone violence, and if you say different because of the Bible- you're forgetting one very important detail.

Men and disciples who interpreted Jesus's teaching.
Christianity should be a religion of peace and prosperity.
I wish people would not judge the very religion by going off of every person who calls themselves a christian.
Every religion has a handful of bad apples.
Christianity do not hate [i]Gays[/i]
Christianity do not condone [i]Violence[/i]

What you said about the crusades and KKK is exactly like Islam. In the way that these modern terrorist groups [i]are not[/i] a reflection of Islam at all. A religion is only as powerful as the amount of people who follow it in majority of cases. Religion evolves because it is an idea but history still has lots of very bad apples in Christianity. And saying religion doesn't matter, only God does, is in fact invalid because a god is defined by his followers aka the men who wrote the bible in this case. Edit: I don't agree with your choice but I do respect your good intentions.

First the first born would die it wasn't Gods fault it was Pharaoh fault because he chose to kill the first born of each family in Egypt and second in Genesis the world was plunged in sin so god had to get rid of all the sin in world.
