If they straight up tell him there's a plan for Xur that they want to keep secret, I'm pretty sure there'd be a Non Disclosure Agreement to go with that info. You don't hand out trade secrets without a NDA. If you're going to wear a tin foil hat and believe in Illuminati conspiracies, at least look for the credible ones. Half life 3 confirmed. At the end of the day, it's a video game and I don't think it's serious enough for them to lie. They get no tangible benefit from lying about him being RNG when he's actually controlled, which is another reason why I think they're telling the truth.

Xur is far from random, if it's random, how could he sell EXACTLY the same armor and weapons week 17 & 21 I believe, what are the odds? How many weapons, how many armor pieces, how are stats determined, etc. Nor do I actually care enough to solve it on my day off from work. I did watch the video, but I believe him when he's said, most recently, that he was mistaken because he was new. It's a game, and no where near serious. They don't have reason to lie, in my opinion.

And he's not a programmer, so he's not in tune with all the nuances of the game. And do you know the exact pool that Xur uses for his RNG? Because I don't. With 19 weapons on the table and way more for the upgrade table, to have that be exactly the same twice is so mathematically IMPROBABLE , that you have to have your head in the sand to think he is RNG. That's like having the same set of lottery numbers hit 2 weeks in a month. Impossible no, improbable yes. There was a post where some one crunched the numbers on the probability of it happening. It is darn near impossible man, combine that with what DeeJ said, Bungie controls him man, wake up. The only mistake DeeJ made in that video was spill the beans. He is covering his butt now. What's he gonna say, of course he is going to say he made a mistake. He sounded pretty damn sure he knew what he was talking about.

Lol you obviously know nothing of odds or probability or how common denominators work... pretty much you don't understand math at all. It is statistically impossible for Xur to sell something weeks in a row across multiple categories. That like the same lottery number coming up multiple weeks in a row or being struck by lightning 25 times in the same spot. Your lack of ability to understand this concept and the community in general makes me fear the state of humanity. You're all idiots!

No it's not statistically impossible. The lottery, depending on which you look at, have six or so numbers, on a 1-20 scale. Just picking numbers at random, so their chance is greater. Destiny doesn't have that large of a pool weapons and armor, so the chance is different. But you're right, I haven't passed statistics or calculus in college, and have no clue what I'm talking about with math (that's sarcasm, as I have passed both those courses, and with A's).
