Xur is random
I have never seen more threads by people claiming they will leave Destiny because of Xur than today. Why? Not that I really care, but it's complete bullshit. Just think about this: there is an NPC in a video game who has a random inventory of the best guns in game every week and you are leaving the game because he doesn't have what you want. Sounds pretty retarded to me.

EDIT: Please stop noting that Bungie or DeeJ has said in a video that Xur is not random. There is indeed a video of this, in which DeeJ says something along those lines. This was then blown out of proportion by the community and changed to 'Xur is not random'. DeeJ later openly said he wanted to clear some things up. He said that he was wrong and that Xur IS randomised.

The punitive nature of this so called random loot system is wearing people down. It is inherently stupid and grossly unfair. I am not saying randomness cannot be a part of any loot system but what Destiny has is just plain stupid. You can only run the same content so many times and not get the drop due to bad luck or whatever. Eventually it is no fun and a waste of time. Finally, you are an idiot if you believe Xur is random. Ok let's say he's random .... There are limited exotics he can sell because of exotic bounties, psn exclusives etc. if xur is random he would have at least sold thunderlord once before they took off ghorn he would have sold it again. To me he's not random I simply stopped caring bout what he's selling now because it's never anything good

Ah, this dumbass discussion again. Must be Friday. Reminder: if you find yourself arguing over whether he's RNG or not, or caring at all, you're an idiot. Bungie controls the mechanic, directly or indirectly, and are responsible when their mechanics are flawed. Even when Xur offers good weapons, he's a kick in the teeth because it's redundant from a few weeks ago. Bungie screwed it up again.

Since then Icebreaker has been sold twice. I don't believe he's random at all especially since also some time back I remember reading something from Deej saying something about them having weight on what he sells and leaving ominous little riddles to what is to come with Xur.. They tell you Xur is random so you can't get mad at what is put in the line-up, that way you keep playing out of desperation to get what you want, don't believe everything you're told please.
