As long as it stays cosmetics I don’t care what they sell or how much they charge.
If they start putting adept weapons or artifice armor in the shop, players would have an honest gripe but it’s dress up not shoot out.
All games do it.
It’s even more annoying to see streamers cry about it to make money off of stirring the pot and the next video they post, they have all kinds of goodies from the shop on.
It’s beating a dead horse.

It hasn't been just cosmetic for some time. Bungie sells XP boosts, drop boons, and masterwork catalyst boons. The XP boosts are pretty much pay to win because XP is tied directly to your light level now and drop boons straight up offer more drops from Ritual Playlists

That doesn’t bother me either. If someone wants to spend hundreds of dollars to get through the season pass in 5 minutes then that’s their business. No one is buying weapons or armor so my point stands. You gain bright dust so use it.

I'm just making note of the edge you get. Even Trials is Light level enabled so someone with a higher level has an advantage. You said "As long as it's just cosmetics", but it hasn't been just cosmetics since XP and Light level were joined
