LMFAO!! You got me. Because in real life we have supers, can travel to Saturn in mere seconds and fight alien raveswfrom other worlds. Look up fantasy and see how idiotic you sound comparing it to reality LOL
Do enlighten me where I imply real life, I'm curious to hear your answer. Oh wait, you jumped to the fastest thing possible to assume.
These are images of tripmines in other games, see something that is reoccurring? I surely do, the red light is there to create balance. If it was not there, it be close to impossible to avoid due to the fact that the stick is hardly visible. Also yah know, the fact that the light is the sensor to set off the Tripmine.

So, other games is our baseline? I'm also fairly certain that in "other games" there are things like; sniper sway, actual gun balance, no supers, "some games" you don't regen health, no fist of panic, no aliens... I can go on all day. Again, see the definition of fantasy. It's not real. It also doesn't have to be based on your perception of "balance" or what happens in other fantasy games. Good try though.

It's not that it's a baseline from other games, it's the fact that it adds balance to aware players to notice it and the fact that the red light is the SENSOR to trigger the mine. Hence the word tripmine I guess the education system is failing you, yes?

You truly are an idiot aren't you? FANTASY doesn't need ANY base in reality!! Balance doesn't have to, nor does it exist in the world of Destiny, nor does it have to! They "balance" based solely on usage which is not balance at all. Perhaps you're not smart enough to think past your own opinions and ideas, yes?

If it where simply the stick to the grenade that is undetectable (also wouldn't even be able to go off due to having no sensor) no matter how aware you are, it'd be imbalanced. Also you know, the fact that the red light is also the sensor to trigger the tripmine. Let's see all the other abilities that can be used as traps and have some form of signal to alert people who are aware of their surroundings. Shall I name them? Snare, Predator, and Tripmines all have a type of blinking to alert people who pay attention to the map so they can avoid it while the reckless players will still fall victim to it. Perhaps you're not smart enough to realize that

Still, it should at least one hit kill

Coming from someone who's ran Gunslinger since the beginning, no. Low armour guardians? Sure but not anyone who's running high armour.

Why? That's stupid when grenades like lightning have the ability to OHK and they pulse like 5 times. You're making no sense.

Edited by Aarchon_Priest: 8/11/2016 1:10:34 AMWhoops I meant fusions grenades (and all other stickies). Have no idea why I said lightning grenade or its pulse, maybe it's because I was talking about it a few moments ago. Anyway, why is it that those scrubby grenades that don't even have to be properly aimed OHK but trip mine, a grenade that first off wasn't easy to stick on and takes careful consideration on its location, doesn't OHK? Where the reasoning there?
