First i'd like to preface this with the fact that i made a post a good while ago about how i felt that hunters would be getting a good look over since Titans got one in last december and Warlocks around late march-early april (not sure when but it was basically there). Golden gun damage buff by 50% overall, 30% PvE, ANOTHER 30% if you get a certain perk. That is frabjous as shit! Tripmines are a little weaker, true, but swarm has been compensated, so maybe its pretty decent. Throwing knives with burn damage killing peeps was a liiiittle too strong when i was getting throwing knife kills for my gunslinger crucible quest. A melee alone should never kill a fully shielded player. Scavenger gives MORE melee and grenade energy.Also circle of life is USEFUL. Holy -blam!- they made Gunslinger more viable for PvE! blade dancer took a couple hits in its downtime, some fixes on that blink strike, but some serious goodies for that super. successful hits mean less energy loss, opposite for missing. better range per melee, another trade off on melee spam in the air and better duration on the super. Blade dance perks are all BUFFED, making showstopper the biggest trade off of hit with a shock wave and get MORE duration and a damage buff. Solid adjustments. Blade dancer will be nice to try out. Oh and ANOTHER PvE damage buff....?!?!?!? Shadowshot... [quote] Shadowshot now applies the suppression effect on impact[/quote] -blam!-IN HELL MAN, hunters should be rejoicing!!! Look at that shit. That was sooooo needed.Smoke more damage on impact, and more punch in the groin for those that don't get out faster, for a bit more of a chance of them getting out. Worth. Courage of the pack made to give 6 of each stat for 3 kills, not 5 for 5. Predator will see more use, because who doesnt want their super faster? Niiiice. Shadestep gets a good hit, but so does that titan flying menace the twilight garrison. Besides, you've got all these other awesome new bonuses you can use! As for my fellow Warlocks and brother Titans, REJOICE! FOR WE HAVE........ wait for it......click it..... [spoiler]PvE SUPER DAMAGE BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUFFFS!!![/spoiler] like mmmmmmmmm ohohohohohohoh that is just majestic. Titan bro's you got a bit of your hammer time back. Although a bit humbling to say, We warlocks aren't as napalmy as we are seen with our grenade burns. Please, consider this sufficient give and take. Relish your newfound power, everyone, and understand why whats been weakened has been. Overall, i find this to be a very welcome change overall to Guardians.

  • I don't think any of the people who main hunters actually read the article. the adjustments were pretty fair IMO (and before anyone give me crap I have played my warlock most - but I have one of each character maxed - so STFU) straight up - the tripmines were unfair, smoke was unfair, and so was the BS one-shot blink strike. you'd be backstabbed from the front over and over. these adjustments are fair. They nerfed firebolts and burn - so what are "hunters" complaining about the months of complaining about firebolts - and they got them to nerf them! sheesh.

I am a hunter main and I do agree with a lot of what has been done overall and I do agree that the throwing knife should not be able to one shot a fully shielded player. That should also go for the shoulder charge on the titan as well though. And even if they can still one shot, they should at least only be able to use it once they have a full melee charge.

  • 1. Predator buff is amazing. 2. Warlock 15% more dmg targets, that's almost melting point and it's on grenades. 3. Golden gun will destroy all ads, basically a 110% increase in pve, so that but night hawk, is almost the equivalent to 11 golden gun shots in the past. Think about it, a fireteam of 6 would basically be shooting 66 shots at a boss now, all in 2 seconds.

  • This. Hunters are stupid. And I main a hunter. The changes for hunters are overall good and needed. I am excited for the super buffs for Gunslinger and Bladedancer in PvE. Yeah, it sucks that Tripmine and Shadestep got nerfed, but Tripmine shouldn't be a sticky on top of sticking to walls. Also, Twilight Garrison got the same nerf as Shadestep, so it's not like Titans have an advantage either.

  • When I read the notes I thought, "Wow PVE damage buffs, that's awesome! The forums must be rejoicing!" How wrong I was. All the changes seem fair and justified, though like others have said, the throwing knife/tripmine nerfs were unexpected to say the least. I think people just need to shut the hell up and play the new classes for a while before they make 100 posts whining that bungie touched the game again.

    Same, thought it was cool how there were all these positive changes with a couple "eeeeeeh really?" ones; off to the forums and WHAM! its like they announced only nerfs that were borderline traitorous, and not a single buff. Methinks these forums goers have been too steeped in each others corrosive, salty juices( even though its not like im not guilty of such from time to time).

  • It's mostly either people who spammed firebolt to get free auto aim kills around corners (especially in trials) or spammed trip mine to get free kills later even if they missed their grenade. I've always felt that if trip mine sticks then so should lightning and spike grenade. I've hit people so many times with those grenades only for them to harmless bounce off.

  • I main a hunter and I'm completely ok with the "nerf." I wish there was an exotic piece that granted multiple grenades for swarm or incendiary grenades since ahakmaras spine is my favorite exotic! Lol

  • The warlocks specifically sunsinger needed to have shit perks buffed by Bungie and we got nothing but Nerfs. Also now that they added a melee delay for flame shield(which will seriously hurt the class in PVE) they must buff flame shield back to its original strength, if you melee first you still win, exactly what the PVP crybabies wanted. What kills me is the flame shield nerfs, sunsinger is a roaming super, bladedancers and sunbreakers have health regeneration during their super to tank damage and stay alive on the front lines, warlocks do not regen health in either of their roaming supers, and sunsingers need flame shield to keep themselves alive during the super. They need to remove the delay on the shield while your super is active.

  • Although i hate to say it, we needed a bit of a hit on that subclass. its meant to be the support class, although they are only now really putting it into that mold, albeit with a bit of force. I do like the damage amp on viking funeral though. I would like a little something for Sunburst - maybe make it guaranteed to drop an orb on kill, or throw something extra on it.

  • The damage amp on Viking funeral is completely useless in PVP, as in order to get its maxed 15% bonus you need to land 3 grenades in 7 ticks, and after 2 the target is dead anyway, they need to up the duration, even if they expect it to be good in PVE, Viking funeral was the only thing that needed to be adjusted on warlocks, the delay on flame shield is whatever I don't usually PVP, and when I do I'm a Voidwalker, but they seriously need to buff flame shield back to its original strength.

Its procs on ignite effects, so 3 ticks and BOOM free 15% damage. As for flame shield they've increased time to proc and increased cd are the changes that have happened to it, correct? People gotta have a chance against it. It IS the only melee that gives a shield on hit, not kill. Idk, man. Just my perspective.

  • What is this? Positive feedback? ON THE BUNGIE FORUMS??? [spoiler]gtfo with that shit[/spoiler] All joking aside, this is one of the better posts I've seen here. I main my hunter and I'm happy with most of these changes. I never really use shadestep all that often, even when I have it equipped but I agree something about it was a bit off. Kinda sad to see the Twilight Garrison take the same hit though. That was the most fun exotic armor I've ever used. Maybe I'll start using my Belicose and start learning how to sky snipe haha.
