Hunters have been destroyed, congratulations everybody!
Well done guys, all your crying and moaning has paid off, blade dancers have been ruined, tripmines and throwing knives nerfed and shade and smoke nerfed!
Edit 1: So I played a few games with gunslinger last night post patch and it's as I thought, trip mines no longer can one shot lower armour enemies so I'm not sure what the point of them is!?
Edit 2: Made this thread almost a week ago, my god you people are boring, leave me alone!

Hunters are better globally then they ever have been, stop crying about the trip mine in a pvp situation only. Trip mines one shot if the enimy is close than it use to one shot from, even full srmor.

Let's put it this way. With Khapri sting knives are still a 1 shot kill. I have been hitting people with tripmines all they do is spin in the air and still detonate on people making a kill.

Just started my hunter, and dont see a problem, I do not rely on grenades for kills, I use them to lower shields then gun them down, or to slow down a group coming down a choke point, but to each their own. Rock on guardian!! Peace Out!

Switched to swarm grenade and moved on. Been having plenty of fun with it still

6 RepliesIts funny, i read the balance section of the forum all the time and since launch i belive i have only read a nerf post about trip mines maybe 3 or 4 times and have yet to see a nerf throwing knife post ....i am a bit confused as why they took the sticky ability away, but i will have to deal with it just like all other gunslinger who still want to be gunslingers

If they broke hunters so badly, it obviously didn't affect all the hunters I keep fighting in the crucible. They still seem pretty damn good to me. But it does feel really good to not get gum stuck to my boots when i get hit with a smoke bomb.

Well I played on my Hunter and it was pretty much the same. But I only play Gunslinger so I dunno about the other subclasses. I've also never used Shadestep and I don't really blink. I main a Sunbreaker btw.

They should have just added the stick option for lightning grenades and spike nades... You can stick a captain with a spike nade and he will drop fast, so why not in pve?

You did it yourselves by overuse If you play all classes then Bungie won't feel obliged to nerf them to get done fame variety
