If you're on last gen still what are you waiting for? Ceased production kinda says it all

For news........news of Neo/Scorpio........(due in 2017) Why would I spend hundreds of pounds on this 'current gen' when there are newer upgraded and much more powerful versions on their way.... coincidental that Destiny 2 was pushed back to Sept 2017......(To be able to benefit from the new consoles upgraded CPU/GPU) and to help sell those consoles I forsee MANY MANY complaints when Bungie announce that Destiny 2 ''has specialist DLC that 'needs to be just on Neo/Scorpio".......And that the forums will be totally understanding of course.....because Activision have form (with dropping of last gen because of Rise Of Iron)
-
Big difference in a 11 year old console vs a current gen upgrade to make 4k capable It's a waste time and resources to give less the 10% of the population something then to piss off the 90% and take more away Get over it Bet Bungie had planned to start the tease of Rise at E3 but due to early leaks had to jump the gun and start talking, fingers crossed they explain more at E3 for all versions of Destiny

If anything..........its the mismanagment from Bungie....and especially Activision and their absolute lack of care for the gamer, other than the cash cow (shown across this whole franchise, amongst many others)......Destroying the premise of Destiny......management disorder, Year 1 being disected, DLC's costing more than an entire game, TTK being lacklutre.....nerfing everything because of PvP bias, lack of dedicated servers etc... When they have DLC leaks.....then they really need to tighten up their studio......

This entire world is about the cash.

Edited by Demon2706: 6/14/2016 12:57:27 AMYep, and some of us....see past the blarney....(with x86 architecture comes easier development across two platforms, and easier (3 year) GPU upgrades! (once upon a time, Consoles were 7-11 year boxes SNES (1990-2003).... Megadrive(1988-1997).... N64, (1996-2004 PS1 (1994-2005), PS2 (2000-2013) PS3 (2006-2015) Xbox (2001-2006) 360 (2005-2016), that got better because of developers who pushed the systems) Now with easier upgrade paths...x86 architecture and development studios eager to please... PS4 2014.....? Xbox 1 2014......? Shelf life.....3 years/4 max? So..... Xbox 1s.........who in their right mind will buy one of those.....?? If you don't have an XB1/PS4.....save your $300/£300 and wait till 2017....for a ('4 times the power') XB-Scorpio/or PS4-Neo (probably uprated to be on par with Scorpio)...... reckon they will drop at $499/£499.....

I agree with you in that I wish they were still 7 year boxes. Those were the good days! But technology is expanding 1000X faster today than a decade ago which explains why all the Devs are playing "keep up" heck, anything 2 years is old and anything 4 years old becomes obsolete nowadays

Edited by Demon2706: 6/14/2016 5:36:15 PMWell they could just make the CPU/GPU and RAM upgradeable.....(through official channels) Sell it via a 'pack' with an official 'return and upgrade path' If they want the 'Easy' PC gaming box route, they could easily change the manufacturing process, access for official upgrades
