unfortunately that is an inevitability in ANY PVP meta. card-games, for example, offer immeasurable numbers of plays, combos, and strategy, BUT they ALWAYS boil down to a hand-ful of meta-able options. BUT in destiny its not so bad that you HAVE to use those specific guns or you lose. i go in with a focus-fire Arminus D (max RoF hakke AR) and i do plenty well. hell, of the ones you mentioned, the only one i use in PVP is TLW, and thats on close-engagements with small teams (3v3).

  • Arminus-D is the same as Doctrine just a different look and name. It's all about the perks.

  • yeah butt im using focus fire. it has a SLOWER ttk, BUT i use suppressive fire, allowing me to pin down enemies or to start damaging them immedietly from around corners. allong with some good positioning i win a lot of engagements i otherwise would have lost.
