It’s clearly not sustainable to have one activity to acquire Ascendant Shards. 1 type of NF/ activity for the rest of D2’s life cycle?? Get out of here. When they do, you’ll get a nice respectful nod from me (friendly, of course). They did it with Masterwork Cores a year ago and they just did it with Pinnacle Gear in the latest TWAB. Remember, right now it’s an illiquid market. There is a lack if diversity when it comes to the source and players will grow tired of that. Remember the ‘Bell Curve’ from school?? I’m on the front side of it (called an early adopter or winger). Wait until the average player (the Bell) starts to echo this sentiment, as well. Bungie’s new mantra is ‘play it your way.’ It’s why you can hit 950 fairly easily playing crucible or gambit or just doing PVE stuff. It’s their goal. Their words. Not mine. Pve only players didn't, but they still complain about giving to pvp players a slower source for upgrading materials. They didn't put effort in obtaining necessary guns (mountaintop & recluse) but they want everyone to farm a boring nightfall to get materials They didn't play the specific activity, they had kill farm lobbies and free wins
