I don't know if it's gross incompetence or just stright up malicious intentions, but this happens WAY too often. The first IB, " our bad, level didn't matter we made a boo boo." The Moldering Sharder are a GREAT idea, HORRIBLE execution. I really like Destiny but Bungle YA DONE -blam!-ED UP!

 • It's the new game engine they designed for Destiny. It is a huge chore to change anything at all. In a recent article, a Bungie employee was talking about how to move a physical object you have to load a world. That takes 20 hours. If after 20 hours there aren't any faults in loading, you load the editor program. Another 20-30 minutes. Then you move the object in the editor and save it which takes 20-30 more minutes. If during the 20 hour load time there is a fault, you have to start the load over again. It seems like a really poor system for a game that is always online and needs constant updates, fixes, patches and new content. Just a bad decision.
