How about an apology for the Iron Banner "bug" and a reward for those who bothered to rank 5?
I mean c'mon Bungie. "Oh we discovered a bug where loot wasn't dropping"
How about a sorry for all those wasted hours?

1 ReplyI can't believe bungie anymore when they say those things... Lol IB is a week long event and you discover the bug AFTERWARDS... everyone was on the hamster wheel grinding away for that gear... They specifically stated IB drops were increased before it came live and they didn't notice it wasn't working until after... If it wasn't ready be honest and say it wasn't ready... They patched pushing Atheon off in what a day day and a half tops lol come on man

You didn't have to play the game to begin with, if you got to rank 5 and are now complaining because you didn't get drops you could have bought you need to stop. And before anyone says anything about marks I had plenty of marks to buy every item 3 times, and I was able to get all of my characters to rank 5 (2 of which were easy to do on the last day with only about an hour of play per each)

4 RepliesMade it to Rank 5 playing at 300-302 Light level the entire time and literally all I got was a 280 Cloak. Usually I would rank up at least 2 if not all 3 characters to rank 5 but this time it wasn't worth the grind for more than 1!

While it would be nice, I'm not gonna whine about it. Nirwens mercy is nice infused to 300 as is.

Please post rewards to my postmaster. Rank 5 IB and got jack shit. The whole reward system is busted at the moment IMO. Or maybe RNGesus doesn't love me anymore.

Got to rank 5. Got no drops. Not even mad, most I've ever gotten is one drop a week through Iron Banner in past events as well

You can't tell me that during the week IB ran, noone at bungie noticed that their loot system wasn't doing what they said it was supposed to do. How many of their employees actually know what they're doing? Starting to seem like they bit off more than they could chew with their game. That last sentence is just my opinion though. "A bug where loot wasn't dropping"???? That bug has been there since 09/09/2014. Perhaps it's time to fix that bug? Just a thought.

No apology or nothin. Bungie is a mess and has never had their shit together with destiny. Cracks me up they say increased drops from iron banner but we all played and got Rng screwed. Completely opposite and unacceptable. Give us all that reached 4-5 a random nerwins mercy roll and we call it good.

Eh I only wanted to rank to 3 for the bond. It ended up dropping rank 2 for me. I still had a blast grinding my way to 5. I don't need any free stuff because I did so. I'm so used to playing RNG in Diablo that hearing there was a bug in destiny didn't even bother me.
