It's not being smarter, everyone could use the cheat but most choose not to.
How can you consider using an exploit smart, it's lazy at best, and cheating at worst.
I know there will be more exploits discovered the test team can't possibly think of things players discover by accident. Hundreds of thousands of players playing will stumble on to the exploit.
If they issue banns then people wouldn't use them.

Yes pushing Atheon off was cheating, you used an exploit so you didn't have to follow the games rules. Pulling the cord on Crota was called an exploit too but you were actually manipulating the network which is cheating.

where are these game rules posted? only rule I have seen in game is "kill them back"
