Refresh my memory….
How much are we paying for this FREE event?
I swear, the sense of entitlement….
English

Just because its free, doesn't make it good. 🤦♂️
-
Show me where I said that. Take your time….
-
Words don't have to be spoken or written. It was very much implied.

ROFLAMO. Then your "inference" machine needs recalibration.
ROFLAMO. Then your "inference" machine needs recalibration.
I'm surprised you didn't give me a ROFLCOPTER. Now I'm offended 😆
-
Naah. I don't haul out the big guns for minor infractions. :)
Refresh my memory…. How much are we paying for this FREE event? I swear, the sense of entitlement….
Boy, arent you tired of being out down for the same silly comments? It's not a free event, it's well paid for. It's only free for F2P players and they don't matter, not to me and not to Bungie.
-
Excluding the event card, I agree. Honestly I always like the EAZ too and wish it were used differently but it’s always fun to see it return.
-
How much are we paying for this FREE event?
Your time.
-
Which you are in control what you do with it. Don’t like it? You’re free to spend your time elsewhere. But then accountability comes with that choice.
-
I'm paying with my sanity The event is terrible regardless of price. Just because an event is "free" doesn't give it an excuse to be complete garbage.
-
No Game History.
-
You do know about privacy options right 😂😂😂
-
You’ve heard of credibility problems, right? 🤣
-
Regardless on how long people have played this game, the event can still be viewed as half baked and rushed. Let's be honest, the only reason people try to check stats is to try to invalid an opinion they disagree with but countering with , "you haven't played as much as me, so you wouldnt know" That's a very weak counter argument especially in defense of an extremely terrible mode. Don't let your "fanboyness" defend bungie this time. This event is not worth defending. If this event is the new standard of events, the game is going to sink like a brick.

Edited by TheArtist: 7/21/2022 11:21:48 AMThen. Don’t. Play. But the eternal double-bind around here is tiresome: If Bungie doesn’t change anything they are unimaginative, lazy, don’t care, and just want our money. If Bungie does change things they are unimaginative, lazy, don’t care, and just want our money. See the problem yet? No real people are always wrong.

If people don't play then Bungie may get the hint that there game kinda stinks right now. That's why people don't play trials, iron banner rift etc. Outright saying," don't like it, quit d2 all together!" Is a fools argument. We as players shouldnt hype up bungie for poor game design or events that stink. We should be critical and respectful with that criticism to hopefully evoke change. This event perfectly outlines how this entire season feels. Half baked and boring. Bungie clearly has other things on there plate outside of Destiny 2 and it's starting to show. I can tell you that with the way they are handling Destiny 2 lately, any new prodcut they put out, I probably wouldn't play right away or at all.

Nonsense. Actual feedback is where you criticize someone for mistakes, but you also praise them for things they do well. The difference gives the person receiving the feedback a direction to move in to get the results they want. But “feedback” that never changes—-You’re wrong and bad no matter what you do—-is useless. But it’s also abusive. It’s not about the circumstances at that point and it’s about the person engaging in the behavior. Fact is that I am a relentless critic of this game. Because I want it to reach its potential. But the difference is my criticism is principled rather than selfish. And I keep my expectations reasonable because I keep the realities of running a business in mind when I judge what Bungie does. I also hold this community accountable for its bad behavior and often unreasonable expectations. Which are clearly damaging the relationship with Bungie. Actions have consequences. If you abuse other people simply because it fills a short term need to vent that someone won’t or can’t deal with on a better fashion? You alienate people. They turn their backs on you to save themselves FROM you. Which is what is currently happening with Bungie right now. But some of us as a community are too selfish and self-absorbed to see it.

This game is Far from "free" it's a trial. you aren't able to do anything but strikes, gambit, crucible, and small events like this. And what's the worth of your gear if your play as a free player? worthless if you choose to be unable to play different content. Also it's not always about "entitlement" as a customer who pays to play your game, it's expected to bring out the best in a video game especially if you decide to make it a Live Service. If you don't want that, then don't call it a Live Service

I didn’t say the game was free. I said the event that people are so bitterly complaining about is FREE. If you don’t like it, don’t play it. You’ve lost nothing, because you paid nothing for this event.
-
Nobody was complaining that it was free people were complaining that it sucks
-
Then what have you lost by not playing it? Nothing. Literally.
-
Because somethings free doesn’t make it immune to criticism
-
“A person who is mad about everything isn’t mad about anything in particular.”
-
Ahh so we can’t complain
