That big of a buff would basically make it the best weapon in the game with no contest.

Whisper without catalyst out damages sleeper simulant. Whisper catalyst adds 30% damage, so a similar buff isn't unreasonable for sleeper.

Those seconds are often valuable in doing additional damage. A straight 30% / 40% buff would be insane. It definitely needs a buff though.....

It definitely needs a buff though.....[/quote] The time you save between shots compared to Sleeper's charge time between shots way outweighs the initial time it takes to proc Whispered Breathing.

100% which is why I feel that sleeper was left behind. The whisper still remains one if the best options in the game.

The BFG needs a huge helping of help[/quote] Easily ^^ the whisper is still one of the best options on certain bosses (if not the best) The sleeper was out dps'd by even my legendary crooked fang. I saw a few reddit posts saying that a certain legendary linear fusions can drop with firing line. An exotic with a catalyst shouldn't be outdone by a legendary / perk. Even high impact reserves on a legendary is still viable.
