Never said I was better but I can spin that on you too. That is a casual mentality when you assume other players think they are better than you.
I'm not better than you. I just don't want a watered down game and that's why I got into destiny in the first place.

People like you never explain what they mean by "watered down game" or "it would kill the game" etc.. No, they just know in their heart of hearts what we are asking for is bad. That is you're problem, even though you have no reason to think it, you still do. I assume you have a clan or use LFG, how would any of this change anything for you?

It’s just selfish elitism oozing outta their mouths lol you are wasting your time buddy, they are shit scared that 6 randoms with no mics could be matchmade into a group and complete a raid. It would completely destroy the aura they have around raiding and bungie wants to protect these guys because as much as they think we are crying they would flat out flood this place with their salty tears.

Ok, let me break it down for you. A watered down game leads to mediocrity. Where everything in the game is super easy to get. Here are examples of what a watered down destiny would look like: Last word? Maybe an hour. Ace of spades? 10 headshot kills in PvP. Raids? Doable without communication and with matchmaking. Thorn? Maybe 30 minutes. Lumina? Do a forge run. All guns have the same rolls. Snipers, fusions, and shotguns are back in heavy. Exotics drop like candy Some of that sound familiar? Some of that was y1d2. That was awful. We don't want a mediocre game. We want something that is fun, and has challenges. Something that we can work at. We don't want another cod where all you do is point and shoot. There's very little depth.

I got ace of spades before the quest change, didn’t bother me one bit. I don’t sit around hoping that others don’t get what I have. They could just do the raids like the menagerie, matchmaking for normal then no matchmaking for prestige. They could also give prestige “special” armour and weapons and a cool wee emblem then you guys could go into public areas and flex in front of us that you did hard mode because that’s all I’m getting from your arguments. It’s fine you wanna feel superior to others, everyone is different and looks for different things in life but I guess that’s the difference. We wouldn’t care how many raids you did on hard mode, we don’t sit around thinking about how others are playing the game since [b][i][u]it doesn’t affect us[/u][/i][/b]

No one asked for watered down... My same rolls was a suggestion and rolls that YOU could change and amp up if you so choose in cause you want a more powerful gun. Match Making wouldn't change a thing... so where is the problem?

No there have been many explanations why but you people refuse to see the legitimacy of it because you believe the game should be "easy" they tried things you're way, the casual way and it almost killed the franchise.

That would affect us who like the challenge of the raids heavily, and would devalue the reason to even do them. This having less people in them. You need to look in the mirror. You're the one dodging facts and things that you damn well know makes sense. Do you raid? Because it sounds like you don't. Do you play high level PvP? Because it sounds like you don't. It's fine to want to play casually. Really it is. But to ask for the entire game to be all easy mode? Hell no. That is not how video game design works. Now you're not giving intelligent answers. You're simply dodging what I'm saying, what others are saying, because you refuse to believe it. Believe it. We tried the casual way. The game was fun for a week and it died right after that. And it died HARD. Time to go the other direction.

The over tuning of reckoning The tuning of the Ace of spades quest The heavy increase of exotics at the beginning of d2 The tuning in comp points earned Nightfalls from d1 compared to d2 Strikes period in d2. Cakewalk. I'm not reaching far at all. I'm simply making a well educated guess based on bungies history and the playerbase. If that happens where we get matchmaking in raids and it's flooded with a bunch of people not raid ready, those people will b*tch, and b*tch enough to where bungie will have to tone down the raid difficulty. Anything else you want me to refute?

Go outside, meet some people IRL, go to a gig, a movie, read a book, learn how to play an instrument, join a band ... hell, even just play some other game. You're not going to look back on your death bed and think, "that time when I spent thousands of hours on Destiny hundreds more online pwning 'casuals' and telling everyone how 'hardcore' I was .... yeah, that was a life well lived".

Hardcore doesn't necessarily mean playing the game for that long all the time. There's a bigger world out there, bigger than just the game. I honestly don't care about casual vs hardcore. I just don't want the game to be braindead easy. But if you have breaks or do things like a staycation then you can play for super long. Otherwise, life comes first. Life always comes first.
