That's not how that would work. They wouldn't actually transfer lines of code. If they were to transfer characters they would read certain variable values saved in relation to your character such as your visible customization choices, gear, etc, and then apply that info to a blank character template on Destiny 2 to recreate your character. Also your character is a state of a template saved on your console and in the cloud, not actual lines of code, more like a series of variable values.
