Brother, back in my day, it was respectful for everybody to use hawksaw or pdx 45 in trials, this isn’t that bad just hunt your god rolls or use something else that can compete with competent team mates and get enough sleep and omega vitamins b vitamins for your head(just eat fish and nuts), its an annoying an boring meta sure, but tbh its not as annoying as 3 mida multi tools, 3 thorns, 3 le monarques, or 3 igneous hammer conditional finality stompers:/. Best of luck, and ik “play the meta” is an annoying instruction to receive but if it works and it’s simple, you’d rather not play to win so you can breathe and relax?

  • i don’t think you quite understand. God rolls make zero difference when this specific weapon has better god rolls and higher stats. It beat out EVERY WEAPON including godrolls at a final rate of 15%. This weapon is not fair to play against. In the first place, having a “meta” at all is a horrible idea. I cannot comprehend or believe that anyone ACTUALLY wants a “Rotating meta”. Games are INFINITELY better when there are only minimal balance changes, like in old games. BECAUSE, you cannot gain skill by switching weapons every week to match the New or Buffed gear that Bungie decided to make OP. Muscle memory will only be built properly by spending hours upon hours using the same or similar weapons. Having a “meta” makes it very difficult to gain skill when your gun is a peashooter every other season. Like, AoS had effectively no perks other than firefly because of nerfs for a VERY long time. Hierarchy of needs is absolutely useless because of it’s low bodyshot damage. Bungie doesn’t seem to understand how skill works, hence why their SBMM sucks.

  • Also you were right, definitely didn’t understand the scope and scale of how successful and effective it is.
