The Martlet needs a proper nerf
12% usage rate when the next best thing is 6% means it’s getting nerfed. However, nerfing the damage would ruin outbreak perfected which is sitting at 2%.
Just nerf the stupidly high stability and handling by a LOT. It doesn’t need juiced stats when it has the best perks to grace a pulse rifle EVER.

I don’t have DLC so don’t care lol but I put on chattering bone which I had never used, and it was really good. Lightweight itself is good enough, plus the handling and zoom. 32 per crit if not mistaken = 96 per burst, pretty forgiving 3 burst. Imagine a 150 handcannon that hits 96 to the head, and almost 40m of range, and less drop off effect.

Nerf it, put it in my hands and it will struggle to get a kill with even 5 burst on a guardian.

3 RepliesBrother, back in my day, it was respectful for everybody to use hawksaw or pdx 45 in trials, this isn’t that bad just hunt your god rolls or use something else that can compete with competent team mates and get enough sleep and omega vitamins b vitamins for your head(just eat fish and nuts), its an annoying an boring meta sure, but tbh its not as annoying as 3 mida multi tools, 3 thorns, 3 le monarques, or 3 igneous hammer conditional finality stompers:/. Best of luck, and ik “play the meta” is an annoying instruction to receive but if it works and it’s simple, you’d rather not play to win so you can breathe and relax?

1 ReplyReally, I've gone up against it many times and won without using my Marlet.. Its less of a problem than Outbreak still is, fortunately less players use outbreak these days. What rolls do you have on your Marlet?

How about the logs it’s firing, it being void doesn’t help its case since void hunters get to triple dip harmonic mods. Unless they’re doubling up on ammo generation for their chaperones.
