Bumped. People forget that Bygones is more dominant than Luna's is. It eats Luna's. I was helping my fiance on his account to get to 2100 to get Recluse and Lunas, and my God, I wrecked ALOT of Luna's users with a West of Sunfall7 handcannon.
People just salty because they didn't get the weapons. Bygones, Inaugural Address and Ace are direct competitors with Luna's. It just shows you the louder people are, even when in the wrong, Bungie will cater to them.
Good post!

I agree certain weapons were able to beat most people using Luna. Just depends on the player, if they suck they'll still suck even if they have Luna.
-
Oh boy another false statement from someone who has no idea what they are talking about and thinks being hysterical will change anything. More people use DRB in the crucible than any other kinetic weapon.
-
Then if DRB is so overpowered, why haven't they nerfed it yet? They did, and it is still is op. People need to stop acting like LH and NF are the only crutch weapons in PvP, and are the only ones that deserve to be complained about, because we both know, that isn't true.

No argument they need to address the Op weapons. They are addressing these ones now, they may address others we don’t know about yet in S7. No one is acting like they are the only crutch weapons, but when players post dramatically about they crutch weapons it’s not a surprise other players suggest they get good using a weapon that isn’t the one they crutch on. If they were actually good at the game a change to weapons shouldn’t be any problem.
-
But these people aren't complaining about the fact that it is their crutch weapon. They are complaining that they've put so much time into grinding these weapons out, which gets harder and harder, the higher you get, and you get spat in your face. You know, I've noticed this; when something nice gets nerfed in PvE, everyone is sad or mad. But when something like these two pinnacle weapons that are getting nerfed, happens, PvP players are driven out and just called names and spat on. I'm not saying you. Or anyone in particular. If you grinded for something for over 400 hours, and your reward got nerfed, because people complained, I'd feel sad for you. Because you lost all that time. Why can't it be the other way? I just don't get it. PvE and PvP A-side. It is crap.

And don't worry, I don't mute people. I'm not toxic. I am aware that PvP was responsible for a vast amount of nerfs in D1. But I wouldn't lay the blame with the players, I'd lay the blame at Bungie, for not separating the weapons in sandboxes.

But they've actually learned how to do seperate sandbox changes. I wouldn't remain salty about it if PvE was responsible for the nerfs in D1. It's been a while, ya know? Time to move on.

I have seen a weapon I would grind for months to get nerfed before.

I'm not trying to be mean here, but are you really that daft? When I said 400 hours, of course I didn't mean 2100. That would be 5500, my friend. I'm sorry, but I was hoping you would've understood that better.

-
I can talk about both, because for other people, Luna's was hard to get. Not everyone is 2100 glory good, but still managed with help from friends or clannies, to get it.
-
You are 100% wrong & can factual prove you being wrong.

If only you weren't a liar.

West of Sunfall's TTK: 1.00 seconds Lunas Howl's TTK: .67 seconds With that large of a difference, you were just playing against people who were performing poorly with the gun. If you were up against someone who knew what they were doing, you wouldn't be able to outgun them.
-
Edited by Dark: 4/26/2019 10:42:47 PMExplain how Cold Sweat and Ikelos were gunning Luna and nf in quickplay while trying to get the thorn. Even when the people with Luna and nf were hitting their shots, 180's in general are just top tier👌
-
The people who you were going up against were performing poorly with Lunas. Even though it's got a relatively low skill floor, people can still screw up. If you were going up against someone who was playing well, you wouldn't have outgunned him in most scenarios.
-
Everything is beatable, even though they're one of the top guns it doesn't mean they need a nerf. I used both Cold Sweat and Ikelos and still beat everything else, including luna and nf. Even my friend used trust at 4.8k glory while we hit max this season, we all did fine.Like I said, 180's are just the best, m8.

Edited by R Y U K E R リューカー: 4/26/2019 5:35:11 PMIt’s not all about TTK. WoS7 is a beast, I have an extreme amount of kills on mine and used it to get Luna’s whilst dunking Luna’s user on the way. WoS7 just feels crispier and it has HCR which really makes a difference against Luna’s, whatever anyone might say. Is it better? No. But it’s certainly a viable alternative that has its own reasons for using it and it’s probably what I will return to once Luna’s gets totally ruined for no good reason.
-
I agree with you a %100.
-
Shame our opinion means nothing under the sound of all the complaints.
-
I hear you. I replied to someone else, saying that when something nice gets nerfed, everyone is upset or mad. But when it's something that's PvP related, we should get over it, and we get insults flung at us. I told people; it's not because of this "cruch" weapons being nerfed. It's the time, the ridiculous amount of time that went into it. I'd be sad for anyone if this happened to PvE or PvP players alike.
-
Exactly. Truthfully, I haven’t used my LH in a while. I personally enjoy Recluse a lot more but it’s still a trophy that I and many others invested a lot of work into and to have it desecrated because others weren’t able to obtain it is totally just bitterness. I wouldn’t have been opposed to a bit of fine tuning but they’ve changed the very archetype of the weapon. I assume they’ll come after my Recluse next.

This, this is the point :)
