I'm fine with this I want to be the guardian so why would he speak for me I will continue to yell at the screen this time without some -blam!-tard saying shit for me

If you've played games like Uncharted , Tomb Raider and The Last of Us, do you think they would be improved by Drake, Lara and Joel never responding to anything that was said to them? I would love to hear my guardian responding to Ghost once in a while or standing up to Gary before a fight. It would make the story more impactful.

That is different in destiny you are the character but in those gams you are playing as Nathan drake the treasure hunter o
-
The only reason you're not playing a character in Destiny is because Bungie got lazy and/or cheap and stopped writing and paying for the voice talent.
-
Ok I Don't want to play as a guardian I want the guardian to be me it breaks immersion if your in game character says something you wouldn't
-
That's ridiculous. It doesn't break immersion when there's a decent narrative in place. Otherwise movies and tv shows wouldn't be a thing, nor would narrative video games like those I mentioned previously.
-
Thats because in those things ypu mentioned you are either playing as or watching a character you arent the character. In destiny you are the character I am my guardian if he says something I wouldnt I breaks immersion
-
In one game you are the character in the other you are playing as a character
