If enough people cancel their preorder, I bet more people get let go. My guess, they had the final shape reveal a couple weeks ago and were banking on an influx of preorders, but lightfall was such a -blam!- show, it didn't happen. I for one didn't preorder because of it. Not enough preorders, less revenue so they're firing people. The people responsible won't lose their jobs, they never do. I don't know how they thought lightfall would be okay to release the way it was.

I personally found the reveal quite underwhelming if I’m honest.

So did I, but I'm sure they were still banking on people getting hyped up by it. I've been burned too many times by them so I didn't preorder.
