It doesn’t make sense for stasis to not be blocked. Remember how long stasis has been around. Calus had to have known about Stasis. He isn’t dumb. Just ignorant.

I know that he would want to cancel all of our abilities but they could have gone about it in a better way than they did. A line as simple as "it disrupts your [u]control[/u] over your abilities" would have contextualized the need for a more free flowing ability.
